Chnace was now back inside his home, and he sat at the bar with a glass of water. He had already changed and tidied up after his small “fight” with Jessica. He suspected that if Jessica went home, Shane would be trying to hunt him down soon, so he was prepared.

Shane stood some ways off behind a thick of trees, watching chances house. The scent was strong of wolf. So shane figured he was inside. With a soft growl, he approached the door and knocked, hoping to come off as kind till he opened the door.

Jessica blushed bright red and became shame. “Can you get for a few moments? So I can clean myself up.” She asked.

Sitting in the kitchen, he heard the sharp knock of Shane’s hand tapping the door. He set his glass on the counter and strolled over to the door, peering out of the small hole. Sure enough, it was Shane. “I know what you’re thinking,” he started with, not opening the door but speaking loud enough for the vampire to hear. “But did you even think to ask her what happened?”

Just a man to man talk.” He said genuinely. It was true that Jessica would have his head if he harmed chance. “We both know she’ll kill me if I harm you.” He stated.
