She flinched a bit, curling up in Jaes arms as she whined a little. Her ears lowered against her head as she looked at his dad, a bit scared. She blinked, lowering her head a bit as she whined softly, a bit scared.

Matthew rubbed the small pocketknife that was lying in his pocket between his thumb and forefinger. It calmed him, for reasons unknown, and aside from cigarettes, was his only stress reliever. "Neat.''
