It didn't take them too long before they got to a small alleyway and Sam ducked into it with a polite 'excuse me.' He waited leaning against the outside of the alleyway and ingorning the odd looks he got from passersby. He would have to find some other clothes that didn't stick out as badly as these did, but for now they would be fine. "So, what would you like to check out?" Sam asked him as she steped out of the alley way,brown eyes watching him. "There's an okay motel down a couple block, and some restaurants a bit further off. 'Been avoiding the east part of town, since there's a weird smell there, but we could check that out I guess." Ambrose smiled lightly at the girl, "How about we get something to eat first? Anywhere that you want would be fine, then we can look for the motel. How does that sound?" Ambrose asked watching the shifter with his blue eyes as he mentally caculated how much money he had on him. He should be fine as long as she didn't pick too expensive of a place to eat, and it wouldn't take long for him to withdrawl funds if he needed more for a room.
Ambrose shifted as the wind stirred carrying with it a faint scent of blood. It wasn't much, which ruled out someone getting stabbed, but it was just enough to catch his attention. Well he would check it out later, the restaurants were in the other direction so they shoudln't run into anything just yet. He would keep his senses on high alert though just to make sure that nothing tried to sneak up on either of them.

Kyoki woke up after a few hours, wondering what was happening when everything came back to him. He touched his neck, hoping that it was simply a nightmare that a vampire cat had bitten him, but no, the bite marks and bandages were there alright, and that wasn't going to change anytime soon. He sighed and got up, wincing as he stretched out the kinks his wings and trotted up the a cat painting hanging on the wall that he realized was actually that vampire cat. He peered at the small lettering at the bottom of the picture and read the name aloud."Nigrum". He muttered, and the painting disappeared, in place the vampire cat, Nigrum. He shield back a little, using his jacket to attempt to mask himself, half expecting Nigrum to take another bite, but was quite surprised when the cat simply turned into its true form and purred, nuzzling his wings.

Kyoki heaved, tension draining out of him as he patted the cat on its head and giggled. His blood tend to make almost everything attracted to him for sometime. It was nice though, this time. He always wanted a cat, but due to him being a demon, he couldn't keep any other than the occasional strays, but this was just too good a chance to pass up and Kyoki grinned, sitting on his new-found bite-buddy's back and cheered," Go!Go! Kitty! To the kitchen~" The kitty, or Nigrum, for that matter enjoyed the attention given by Kyoki as Achen preferred spending his time attempting to murder said cat. Nigrum purred like a motorbike and leapt off, the same thoughts in both their minds. To the kitchen!!

More than happy to be heading away from the weird smells which she definitely didn't want to think of as delicious, Sammy started leading the way into a more lively part of town. Puzzled by some of the weird looks she was getting, she wondered if she'd forgotten to shift her ears or something before realizing that the looks were directed at her companion. Considering how different their outfits were, she decided to aim for somewhere pretty casual to eat, and headed for a small restaurant she'd seen earlier.
"How about this?" she asked, stopping and gesturing at the sign over Melissa's Hometown Diner.

Misty easily walked away from the crowd, just as easily as any other of the uninterested or busy bodies passing through. The only difference was that she wasn't it a hurry to go anywhere. That was always an issue when arriving in a new place: getting situated. Second to getting a light snack. There was always the option to move on, but Misty already knew that there wasn't any signs of civilization outside of here for a few days walk. And she wasn't going to go through all the trouble just yet.

With the taste of blood still on her lips, Misty quickly used an arm to wipe anyway any dribble. People tended to take notice if you had blood dripping down your face. It wasn't much however, and just left a faded smear on her forearm. Second matter of business: finding a place to hang out for a while.

Achen easily spotted the vampire who'd taken a bite out of his book seller; she seemed unaware that there was anyone other than humans to conceal herself from. Hoping to startle her a bit, he sped past and swerved the bike around to block her path. "Do you normally hunt on others' territory?" he said icily, glaring down at her.

Kyoki and Nigurm grinned as one when they reached the kitchen, Nigrum opting for the float-through-door way while Kyoki went head first onto the door and opened it, pouting as he was injured again, though the mark was already gone by the time he had followed the Vampire Cat to the fridge. Said cat turned back into the normal kitty and watched Kyoki as he began searching for some fish and rice for making sushi.

After a few minutes of finding and impatient yowling, Kyoki got all the ingredients and steamed the rice, preparing it for the raw fish. The cat, Nigrum, by now was rather annoyed, took this chance to take a bite of of the frozened fish, and yowled in displeasure at the ice cold taste of fish and glared venomously at it. Kyoki turned around the the sound of the noise and laughed at Nigrum's foolishness. He wagged a finger at the cat and walked off telling it,"The fishy isn't thawed yet, so no eating or it'll give you a tummy-ache!" Kyoki explained childishly at the cat and got batted on the head with a paw for it, causing him to pout miserably in pain. "Naughty kitty..." Kyoki mumbled under his breathe as he took a seat on the kitchen table, waiting for the rice to cook and fish to thaw.
