"I like the sound of that." Iris smirked, tucking the flower into her sash. Standing, she looked down on Orion. "Need any help, buddy?" She asked, squatting to his level. She lifted her hand to push back the the hair that had managed to fall over her eyes.

Scarlette smiled in her strange, cat-like manner and replied, Oh, me? I'm just a random Etherik named Scarlette. You can call me Scar if you'd like. Scar licked her paw gently as she spoke.
There was a stone lodged in the pad that was bothering her. She gave up on using her tongue to lap it out after several attempts and instead began to use her teeth. She pulled it out after a few more attempts and spit the little pebble out on the ground. Scar hoped that her attempt hadn't appeared too weird in front of her new acquaintance.

"So where are we going now Scar?" Raven asked as she layed down with her hands behind her head, while still hovering in the air. Raven wondered if Scar knew about her past, there were after all several books written about the lazy Djinn, 'She dosen't seem to be afraid of me, or know what exactly I am' Raven thought 'I hope she never finds out, it could ruin our new found trust'.

A fabric bag hung from his right shoulder, it was heavy with a mix of different packs of vibrant berries he'd collected from a market stand and another bag on the same shoulder but over the other was filled with quite a few bottles of milk all neatly placed inside for the trip home. If he could make it there. Lucien sighed to himself as he struggled to carry the heavy bags of flour and not drop them in his efforts to get them back. Where he bought from usually carried them in understanding that he still needed to carry other things as well or simply dropped it off after the market was closed for the day but today there was someone knew there and he certainly wasn't about to ask for the same 'special treatment'. The elven man stumbled and fell forward with a surprised yelp, landing on his knees with the bags of flour thankfully intact but on the ground in front of him. Lucien groaned in distress before quickly checking the bags hanging from his shoulder to make sure nothing had broken. With a relieved sigh, he looked up to realize he had just fallen in front of a human and quickly grew embarrassed. "I-I'm sorry about that.." Lucien apologized as he avoided meeting the gaze of the other as if ashamed of the 'show' he'd put on in his amazing fall.

Scarlette thought for a second. Well, all of the other Etheriks are staying out of this conflict currently going on. I thought about joining DragonBane for a few reasons. My main one is that I actually want to do something important for once in my life. I also want to improve my skills with humanoids since, if you can't tell, I really have no clue about them, Scar explained. The bonus of mind speech was that it was impossible to get short of breath from it.

"Well then why don't we head to DragonBane headquarters and join, on the way I could answer any questions you have about humanoids, I am here to serve you after all" Raven said nonchalantly to Scar as she floated toward the exit and motioned for the Etherik to follow. Raven herself had had many encounters with Humans and many other races alike, and not to mention the hundreds of books she had read about humans and many other races.

Scarlette nodded in agreement. On the inside,
she couldn't care less if Raven was supposed to serve her or not. Scar was just happy to have somebody to talk to. I don't know if you can or not, but if you could make yourself a tad smaller you could ride on my back to DragonBane, Scar offered to the Djinn.

"I can't do that but I can do this" Raven was suddenly sucked back into the necklace, but this time her face could be seen inside the gem. "Better?" She asked Scar as she looked around and got used to the feeling of being this short. The Djinn hated the idea of being in the gem again but if it was the safest way for them to travel together without walking.

Scarlette nodded in confirmation. She realized that Raven probably couldn't see her head, so she then responded,Yes, thank you Raven. The small Etherik spread her huge wings wide and with one steady beat took off into the air. The thought of a challenge no longer bothered her now that she has somebody to talk to. She glided smooth and fast over a good swath of the forest before curiosity made her stop. Scar saw two figures sitting in a grassy spot in the wide open. She circled overhead out of a sense of flaming curiosity to know who they were.

Raven squinted at the figures from inside the necklace "Thats strange I didn't think anyone lived in this forest, did someone move here in the last 500 years?" The Djinn asked. She looked around but couldn't see any houses "Be careful Scar they could be bandits", Raven said as she started to plan battle stratgies in her mind in case the unknown people decided to attack.
