analyzing the vial, daniel quickly sketched what he saw. it was a tad messy, but he didn't have time to clean up the lines, so until it was revisited, this would have to do. sketching aside his work book, the male went back to peeping in at the poisonous liquid. there was a frown on his face. as a man of logic, dan loved to study the fact. and here, the facts didn't add up.

naginii walked back to the cave, and sat on the bed. she thought of him, and the wall grew pink when she touched it. there was only one thing to do. tell him. hope he wants me back. try not to have an emotianal breakdown if he says no. oh well. you only fall in love once, right?

a few minutes passed, and daniel's analysis was soon complete. "hmm," he murmured to himself. "well, i'll let this stew for the night. with luck, tomorrow i'll have some conclusive results." setting aside the poison, the male dragged his fingers through his hair, leaving the brown strands a mess in it's wake. settling down, the lab researcher prepped himself for another night of studying whatever.

naginii slept. --morning-- naginii sng her special jinx, and went down to the lab. she went to where her mother was stored. the body in the coffin looked at her. 'that was different' she thought. she was facing upwards last time.

daniel had stayed elsewhere that last night, resting up somewhere in the forest. it wasn't clear as to where he had slipped off to, but in the morning he returned to the lab. the researcher was in another one of the rooms when he heard the door to the lab open. while he stiffened at the sound, the brunette didn't poke his head out the door to see who it was. back to writing his formulas.
