Seeing her fall in step with Jay, Michael turned his gaze away and caught up with the others, hands pocketed, mouth shut. He tried at least.

North saw Michael make a weird face and run to catch up with the rest of the group •I wonder what brought that on• north thought then she started walking ahead of jay so that she was in between Michael and jay •maybe now everyone would be happy• she thought

Cry:
"I told her that your safe, and with good friends that will protect you. And to not call for a bit because it's a beacon for the scientists."

[Nebelung]

"Smart," Michael commented quietly. He glanced at Cry uneasily. "I don't say this to sound mean, but aren't you just as much of a beacon as the phone was?"

Cry:
"No, phones send out radio signals."

[Nebelung]

"And you don't with that vibes thing you're doing?" He looked ahead, gaze narrowing slightly as he searched for any signs of a building.

Cry:
"No, they are independent beings."

Michael nodded as if in understanding - but he didn't get it. He glanced at Cry, then dropped his gaze down again. "Sorry for giving you a hard time back there. I don't make the best first impressions."

Cry:
"I was actually having a lot of fun."

"Yeah, it seemed like you were." His nose wrinkled slightly in annoyance, but he looked to be content. He looked around at the others behind them, then looked at Cry again. "So how do you know these guys? Friends? Foes? Lilly's your relative, so she doesn't count."
