Ivy sighed. "Sometimes I wish I wasn't so small," she said. Then she brightened and said, "But it is always entertaining to see people react when I tell them how old I am." She laughed. "They never get it right."

Em

It only takes a brief moment of panic, during which Em makes herself proud by not screaming aloud, for her to realize what has happened. It takes an even brief-er moment for her to take to her feet, sprinting in any old direction away from Mei, unwilling to be caught.

Sinfer

"Sure," he mumbles, again with his mouth full, watching Miles take the plate instead. There's always more food if he wants it, though the well-cooked variety can be less easy to find. However, he makes sure to finish his food before he answer's Mika's question, as he always does his best to be civilized around her, even if he's still a little odd. Speaking quietly, to match her tone, he replies, "I'll stay until I know you're safe around these newcomers."

Mei

Mei watches the girl sprint away and a smile spreads over her face. "Gods, I love it when they run." She turns on her heels and, like the predatorial cat she is most akin to, sinks into a low running stance and bounds after Em. "Don't worry!" She calls as she runs, laughing softly. "If I wanted to kill you, I'd have done it already~" It's not a comforting phrase, even if it probably is true...

Miles

"Well that makes two of us. But I'm an 'alien species', most humans have no idea how years work where I'm from anyways." He finished off his plate and puts it aside, looking happy.

Mikaelan

Mika shakes her head. "I'm alright...." She pauses. "It's good to see you again, though." She adds the tiniest smile, but she's careful and reserved. She's always loved her brother she just... doesn't know what to do with him. Or, for that matter, herself at the moment.

Ivy tilted her head. "How old are you anyway?" she asked curiously. She then realized that some people might find the question insulting. "I mean, if you want to tell me, of course," she hastily added.

Miles

Miles made a dismissive sound, half snort and fully goofy. "I don't mind." He said simply. "Mei and I are 24 years now. I don't know how that translates earth-wise, though." He rubs his shoulder. "I think it's either 50 or 30-something but math isn't my thing."

Ivy looked at him in surprise. "Either way, you're much more than ten years older than me. That would make you at least 15 years older, and that's if you did the math right."

Em

Em isn't so concerned about a fight; she can scrap with the best of them, and though her methods aren't exactly fair and square, she tends to survive. No. She's worried about getting caught. She has no idea if the person chasing her is the captain of the ship, one of the passengers, or even another stowaway. For the moment, she hasn't got time to worry about it, she simply does her best to run for freedom.

Sinfer

Sinfer zones out of the other conversations entirely, focusing on Mika and Mika alone. When she smiles, it causes him to smile as well, a full, wide grin. Placing the empty plates down onto the floor, he stands and in one fluid motion, pulls her into a tight, protective hug.

Mei

Mei races across the grass, easily keeping pace a few feet behind Em. "You're just going to get tired, love~" she calls. She's run all her life; this is easy. Her breath is even, her pace is easy; it would be the simplest thing to catch up but she stays behind. "I'm just here to help, believe it or not. There's food nearby."

Miles

"Which is something like seven for me." Miles replies, shrugging. "Why do humans think earth time is the only time?" He shakes his head in mock exasperation.

Mikaelan

Mika doesn't hesitate to return her brother's embrace, wrapping her arms around him. She stands still and quiet for a long moment, waiting for him to release first. The hug is sudden, but she's more than happy to be with her brother. Still, she's on edge and she's not entirely sure why.
