Sam looked up at Julien then back down. “Because not everyone is as kind and accepting as you are. Please can be judgemental and mean, they can be bullies who pick on you just because you like a boy.” He told Julien in a way that could suggested he had experienced that.

since the question was primarily aimed at Dawn Tyler decided to not answer, instead he opened up the top draw from his desk, revealing the two glocks ad well as his chest holster. Tyler believed that everyone had the right to keep their weapons with themselves, the safe zone only allowed the guards to keep weapons inside the walls, which with the safety of their walls was understandable, but they didn't have such luxury, just yet. pulling the gun out he checked for ammo, all those who participated in the fight lost a lot. whilst Sky and Dawn spoke about the medicine he thought for a moment, how much this was a good idea. since Sky's move into the group she has gradually changed her mind, but he was still weary of getting her involved with the safe zone, if she were to recognise a familiar face a single moment of hesitancy could be fatal. Without looking up he questioned "do you know when the scavengers will be returning from one of their big supply hunts?" the safe zone would reguraly send out multiple scavengers for a multiple day search far from the general areas, but due to this being an easy target they were always heavily armed and made sure to carefully plan their journey.

When her apprentice returned Bianka was by her desk filling out paperwork, the worst of her job. hearing the report she muttered "dog bite..." before looking up and realising which patient it was about. "don't worry about him, he was addicted to painkillers in the past, he has the right dose for now." they had to be extremely strict with things like sedatives due to the limited supply. during the apocalypse Bianka learnt about natural remedies, herbs, so that the people who just needed it for a headache or a pulled muscle could also be taken care of. Yet it was the only thing the medic went to collect by herself, as it was so easy to make a mistake.

her break was soon cut short as a ghost had come to visit her. she sighed eyeing the decomposing corpse shamble it's way towards her. Not wanting to get up just yet she simply took her knife, aimed and fire. throwing the weapon at the things head. Sonia had a good aim, especially with firearms but she could handle a knife or a bow aswell. At first Sonia still didn't get up, simply watching the motion cease, she heavily distanced herself from the creatures, cause that's what they were to her, hostile bags of meat, she never saw the fact they were once people for that would ruin Sonia with her kill count. the woman has never wanted to kill a single person, but those who deserved it. most of the infected did not deserve their fate.

The past two months went by Lexa in quite a blur as she remained out of the attack for the most part. Due to her past history with the hunters her loyalties were not tied to either side. Not that anyone knew that but her as she made sure to keep things to herself. Days went by quick it seemed like there was never enough time to do all that need to be done. Lexa was currently walking through the safezone, she planned on heading out soon for supplies.

Nathan hadn't been in the safezone very long him and his brother joined about a month ago, so they weren't really involved with the attack on the hunters. It took awhile for Nathan to adapt to the daily tasks and stresses that came along with being part of the safezone. However things hadn't been too hard thus far but who knew how long that would last. Nathan has been up since early dawn and had already went on a short supply. He had made his way back in the safezone not to long ago and dropped off the few supplies he managed to find.

She noticed Dawn eyeing her but Sky decided to disregard it for now. Upon hearing that medical supplies were good it was one check off the list of things that they were currently low on. Sky remained silent for a few moments trying to remember the big supply hunts "I'm not for sure they were never set days, but I would say since they lost quite a few supplies. There's probably a few out right now if I was to guess."

Tyler recognised the subtle tension but did not intervene. gradually Tyler let Sky fend for herself when it came to his group. if something were to indeed go too far he would defend her but Sky needed to prove to the group her presence here was necessary and she could defend herself. if she couldn't then how could she be a trusted deputy. Tyler trusted her in this notion. "We can send out a few people on separate journeys first till they're position is tracked down, then we'll attack." Putting the guns back into their place he turned around and leaned back against the desk, he wasn't going to arm up just yet for he didn't plan on leaving till an hour or so. Tyler glanced over at Dawn as he spoke "just some cuts and bruises, most of them have healed by now, don't you trust me in not getting hurt?" He raised his eyebrow and accompanied the words words with a light hearted tone to break the tension. the giveaway was the word 'most' for indeed one safe zoner managed to strike him in the back of his right shoulder, and that wound was still healing, but he bandaged it up himself and has kept the wound clean all this time, but due to the cuts size it was yet to heal. as Soon as they got to the motel there was so much to do, so many wounded and dead to take care there was no time to waste.

Hearing a voice call out she fell out of her daze and looked up curiously, spotting Daniel on his post at the top of the wall. she smiled briefly before responding in a confident and amused voice "What can I say, practice makes perfect." pushing herself up back onto her feet she walked up to the corpse, retrieving her weapon and cleaning the blood roughly off by using the walkers ripped shirt where the material itself wasn't drowned in blood.

Miles looked down for a moment. “The point of an endless feud is it doesn’t end. Too many lives have been lost to this, we’re both trying to do the same thing; survive. Why we have to be at each other’s throats I forgot the reason to long ago.” He replied lowly to Elena.

Sam nodded as he listened to Julien, looking up at his eyes after he held his hand. He understood that but he still couldn’t shake that awful feeling of anxiety he got from the judgment of others. “I don’t know if I could act completely normal in front of other people. I love you too and I agree it shouldn’t matter but...” he trailed off not sure what else he could say.

Rosaleen didn't notice Wren looking at her and kept looking ahead, watching where she was walking. She nodded, understanding what he meant. "I get it. I usually just try and loose myself by painting or by looking at the wonders of nature. It seems to help me… forget all of the bad stuff and just focus on the present and not the past." Leaves crunched under her white boots, and she listened to the birds. They sounded as if they were singing, and she whistled back the tunes to them.

Arkady had floated on her back for quite some time before swimming to the shore. Her white tank top and black shorts were soaking wet, and she rested on the rocks. While waiting for the sun to dry her off, she listened to birds chirping and sang a soft tune. Once no more water droplets were on her skin, she stood up and switched out her still wet clothes for black leggings and a black cropped shirt. With no sleeves, it was easy to move around in and she picked up her red flannel which she tied around her waist. Arkady glanced around at the surroundings trees, and listened to every sound. She wasn't wanting to run into the wrong people, and tried to be quiet as she slung her backpack over her shoulder along with her bow and quiver and walked back into the shadows of the forest.

Kadance sat down at the base of a tree in the woods, near the old hotel. As she stared at the building, she remembered the time when she had gotten herself and another rogue into a lot of trouble there, ending in them going to the Safe Zone for help. Now, she was free again.

Eventually, Morgan spotted an old hunting shack tucked away in the depths of the forest. He straddled an old collapsed fence and made his way towards the decrepit building. The roof was partially caved and all of the walls looked more moss than actual wood. Nevertheless, it was a place to stay—with a roof to boot. And it looked completely untouched; no one had looted or ransacked it, so there was a chance there were still goodies to be found inside. Toeing open the door with the tip of his boot, Morgan peered into the cramped space. The splintering door gave a shuddering sound, but it allowed him to pry it open enough to slip inside. Morgan fished his lighter from his jacket pocket and flicked a flame to life. The floor was empty save for a ruined chair and a couple of rusty cans. In the corner was a sagging cot with one too many holes to support any weight. The place would do for the time being, he decided as he dropped his bag of belongings to the ground.

she nods, going off to find her bag. she exhanges notebooks, pulling out her poetry book. she tries to get something out but fails. instead she takes out her previous notebook and goes into the back to take stock. not much else to do. she began to hum to herself - and made note of what they had and didn't have. "so, bianka?" she called out front. "we're running low on more then a few things. should i make a run? its stuff i could easily find out in some drug store." she calls. if anything - leilani just wants out of the safe zone. as crazy as it sounds, she and her dog have been getting too cozy lately. in all honesty she hated staying in one spot but she was safe.
