Jessica watched alexander carefully as he had now peeked her interest. He didnt run from her, he spoke to her, and thought of her powers as a gift. Smirking, she asked “are you crazy or somethin?” She let out a soft giggle. “No one has ever thought of my powers as a gift or would even dare speak to me.” Her head turned towards the wolf and watched as it jumped into her palm, becoming smaller, till it disappeared. Her eyes shifted to the crow and it flew around them, then dove into her palm. Looking at her palm, black symbols stretched around her hand and on to her wrist.

The girl spoke. Samuel blinked in response and his cheeks warmed slightly. Though her voice lacked any outwardly emotions, it was a small but firm soprano voice. The grey fire of her wide eyes resembled a blizzard in the dead of winter. His eyes widened slightly before returning to his scowl. He cleared his throat as he shoved the fine arrow into her hand. "Here, I wouldn't take it." Perhaps he was being harsh without thinking about it. His friends- though few- often say he comes out gruff. His eyes softened slightly and tried to have a more neutral tone. "Buts its fine because I found it and gave it back- don't worry about it." He turned away from her to leave. He felt foolish. He wondered if he would ever see her again. Would it be better that he didn't? Secretly, he hoped that he could speak to her again and maybe, just maybe, see some more life behind her cold, beautiful eyes.
