"I mean, it's pretty loud out there but, okay." Lumi said, before walking through the door, eyes on the ground. Looking at the moon, whether on purpose or accidentally, wouldn't help her right now, especially since she would rather stay human. Once she was outside she looked back at Kyle, the moon rising slowly in the sky behind her. Her ears were pinned down, an attempt to keep out as much noise as possible, though it didn't work very well.
A fish jumped out of the water a mile or two away, making a fairly large splash, the towns librarian had just dropped an entire crate full of books outside the library, someone at the bar had just lost a large bet and the crowd around them was laughing, she heard it all and it was annoying and it hurt her ears, though she tried hard not to show it.

Kyra gulped softly "That is not for me to decide, the authority to accept important decision belongs to the alpha and not to a beta" she fiddled with her hair for a while, nothing but silnce in between the two of them "However, I can make decisions for myself" she was scared about the hunt tonight and didn't want to spend it on her own, besides, she trusted Elijah "And I will ally with you until we find my alpha, but I can only speak for myself not for my pack"

He observed Lumi carefully, he knew she wouldn't hurt any of them, but clearly something was bothering her. "It gets worse with every full moon doesn't it?" he whispered softly trying not to hurt her ears "Look, I don't like what you are" he frowned "But even so you can't deny it what it wants, I've been helping the scientists do some research... they are trying to find a cure" he revealed the information as if it was nothing but plain fatcs everyone knew, even thought he had kept it a secret from everyone including Lumi "To be honest, the hunters here already see you as a wolf, you don't have to force yourself every full moon to stay under control, the wolf is a part of you whether we like it or not and right now you're drowning it, trapping it. The wolf will do whatever it needs to do in order to be set free" he sighed softly and lowered his gaze "I realize now, I never told how I got my scar, or why we never talk about my mum... I was only 6 or 7 at the time, my dad was still alive at the time... and so was my mum. For years she had kept it from us, we didn't know what she was, until that same summer. She would resist the pull of the moon every month, with that she would often get extra sensitive and easily irritated, every month that passed, every year that passed, it took away the little humanity she had left, the wolf was finally taking over, after years of being starved of freedom. For me as a child it was terrifying, to see my own mum driven a little bit more insane every day, until my dad finally figured out what was happening. I was told she had a mental disease, that she was at a hopital "recovering" the truth is my dad had locked her up in one of the cages, where she belonged. One day I overheard a conversation between my dad and his second in command, it didn't take me long to realize who they were speaking of, so being the naive child that I was I snuck into the basement longing to see her again. What I saw, will stay in my mind forever, a creature more wolf than human, wild eyes, bleeding out of its lips where the fangs had penetrated. I froze, my own mum, turned into a monster. The sound she produced was so full of pain, sorrow and hate, it broke my heart, a mixture between a howl and a roar, right before she snapped the lock open and threw herself onto me" he paused for a minute closing his eyes "That is the story of my scar, and I'm asking you to do what is right for us"

Lee rolled his eyes when Lumiinea told Valentina to get snacks for the night, mind you it wasn't a half bad idea especially for those who didn't eat Leeland's meals but the man couldn't help but feel it as a jab at his cooking. "There's a reason I chose to make rice today Lumiinea, it's filling. Anyone who eats their fare share won't be hungry until the morning." With the draining done he dumped both pots of rice into one before giving it one long final stirring for good measure. "And I left that window open on purpose, I'll close it when I'm done." Afterwards both Kyle and Lumii exited the kitchen and Lee promptly shot a glance at Valentina curiously before focusing back on the food. "Hope you're done packing for tonight." He told her, placing a lid on the pot then closing said window before exiting the kitchen followed by the cabin itself.

Once out at the camp he'd place the pot on a tray over a campfire to keep warm, someone was standing by to keep watch on it and give out the portions when the hunters showed up to eat. Lee moved off from the center area of the tents heading towards his own tent.

The older male's eyes widened at the she-wolf's acceptance but only partly of the deal."Hmmmm, Fine."He glanced around slowly watching the moon creep up as he gave a quick shiver before glancing back at the beta."But do remember if we do not find your Alpha soon you'll have to take the rank don't forget."He smirked before walking towards his front door."Inside here I'll show you where my pack transforms at."He stretched as his fingernails grew and his arms started growing hair twice as much as he opened the front door waiting for the young wolf to enter.

Valentina sighed at Lee's comment about calling him a housewife. Finally taking her hair down as Lumi and Kyle exited the room. Nodding to Lee asking if she was ready, she wrapped he towel in a ball before Lee left the room knowing she didn't need to pack the snacks since Lee always had that covered. Standing up she walked out the kitchen and back into her room. Throwing the towel onto her bed she quickly grabbed a rubber band and threw her hair into a ponytail, finishing her ponytail she sat on the bedroom floor tugging on her boots.

Lumi stared at him as he told his story, golden eyes wide with fear and worry, going over his words in her head.
'A cure? Is that even possible? Where she belonged? Does that mean that I belong in a cage too? I would never hurt anyone, ever.
"Kyle I.." she struggled to find the right words, after what she had heard just minutes ago she couldn't leave him right now, "I can't. I'm sorry about what happened with.. with your mom but, I can't let it out. Not tonight, maybe not ever again." She paused for a minute or two and listened for the two lycanthropes she had heard talking earlier. Her breathing quickened, the moon grew ever higher and a few howls could be heard from a mile away.
"I appreciate your concern but.. there is a different reason I asked you to come out here."

She twisted her neck as the felt the pull of the moon taking over her, it was a wonderful feeling of freedom. Her fangs grew sharper and her mouth starting poking out of her face adopting a snout like shape. Her back bent fowards until all four of her limbs were against the ground. Coal-like fur grew all over her body covering her now bare skin after her clothes had broken off. She wagged her tail and shook herself, producing a soft bark like sound as the stretched happily, as a wolf she felt more at home, safer and less vunerable than as a human. She walked into the house following Elijah.

"It's not your pity that I'm asking for" Kyle whispered giving a quick look of concern which washed away after a couple of seconds "Just please promise you'll think about it" his voice had grown colder than usual, he never told this kind of stories, not to anyone, if he had tod it to Lumi it was because it was important to him that she didn't go mad, "For the group's sake" he shook his head once again and contemplated Lumiinea's wolf like eyes, the eyes with which his mother had looked at him before she had tried to , those eyes full of desire to tear him to pieces, however, he had to admit that when he looked into Lumi's eyes, he didn't see that in them, maybe this was because they practically had grown up together, and he was so used to them but still something in her eyes made her different from the rest."What was that you wanted to talk about then, Lumiinea? "

"Fine, I promise. Anywho, I heard wolves, a few minutes ago," she took a deep breath, attempting to slow hr breathing though it didn't work, the pull of the moon was very strong now and much harder to resist,"The packs are making an alliance, starting tonight. We won't have the usual advantage of them being in smaller, separated groups and they'll be stronger than normal."
She was used to resisting the moon so it wasn't normally a problem, even on full moons, but something about tonight made it harder to resist now. Her eyes seemed to glow in the night, but they were full of fear, fear that she would hurt someone, fear that she wouldn't be there to protect someone, fear that they would lock her up in one of the cages she had locked so many in so many times.

Elijah nodded quickly guiding her through the house as he opened the back door as he fell onto his knees quickly turning into the large beast he really was. The male quickly turned his head showing her his bright glowing green eyes before dodging off into the forest waiting for the she wolf to follow. Leading her the to the back of the town and away from humans and hopefully the hunters. Glancing back at the beta to examine the rest of her wolf form.

Valentina walked out her room and patted her hair once more as she walked down the hall before peaking where Kyle and Lumi had set off to speak. Her eyes grew large she was always a bit worried when Lumi began to transform."Is everything going fine?".She smiled glancing back and forth at the man and woman.

She didn't have a hard time catching up with Elijah, she was faster than most of the wolves in her pack, it felt good shifting again, the moon filled her with strength and her senses were more acute than usual, something made her stop abruptly, a voice, two voices "The hunters know about the alliance, they are coming" she didn't know how they knew but didn't stop to think about it "We have to lead them away, the other wolves, they don't know".

He nodded "That's useful, interesting too... Akakios and Hesiod have made an alliance" he chuckled "Who would think this would happen? Not my old man let me tell you that" he opened the door to the hunters cabin from the outside, then focused back on Lumi "They must be really desperate huh?" Kyle had taken a few steps into the cabin "Hunters!" he cleared his throat while moving foward another step "The full moon's out, the wolves are stronger than usual and the two packs have allied" hearing the murmurs of concern, he gave then a few seconds to think about it "It might seem that luck is not on our side today, but an alliance will mean more wolves moving together, so" he smirked "And more fur coats for the winter"

Lumi winced as he raised his voice, it hurt her ears very much, she raised her hand up and covered her ears, though it didn't help. She followed him back inside slowly, and reluctantly.
"Kyle," she said, taking a hand off one of her ears and tapping him on the shoulder a few times.
