"Hmm, you ok over there?" He noticed Cinnamon's expression falter for a second."I like to come here a lot. It's away from all the noise of the park, but it's not too far away from everything. Darian noticed a slight red tint to Cinnamon's face, but wasn't sure if it was just a simple trick of the dim light making every colour seem distorted. The boy watched a squirrel in a tree, amazed at how light the animal was on his feet.

he smiled innocently. "nah, i'm okay." the male said sweetly and turned away. he had trained for years to hide his emotions! how could he let it show through now? he didn't know. he just didn't know. sighing out of frustration he turned over to to look at the scenery once more. a bright red flower seemed to be in full bloom nearby and he looked at it with an unwavering gaze. was his face still as red as that flower? were his emotions just as fickle and fragile as that flower? "yeah. it's very peaceful. you're lucky to have stumbled upon it." he said and laughed. "i probably never would've."

"Mm." She smiled as she watched the twins chatter. "I live over there," Ezra gestured to a block of well kept flats, with flower beds at the entrance. "And I've been here for quite a while." Maybe you and the twins would like to come?" Ezra was wringing her hands and standing on her points, signalling she was extremely nervous.

A blue strand of hair flips over her face and she blushes as her hand automatically goes to brush it back, then says, "I could always fit in one of her favourite songs if that makes her happy?" Ezra looked over at the twins who were comparing their clothing. "I think that would look great on you, Jiro! And you too, Ru!" She held her thumb up at the twins and smiled.

I thought about her offer for a bit and pushed my glasses up, "You don't have to go out of your way to do that for her, I'm sure she'll be happy enough just to hear you sing." I say and then mentally face palm at how cheesy that was. A bead of sweat fell down my forehead as I looked over at the twins, making sure they were occupied.

Ezra took the edge of her sleeve and gently wiped away the bead of sweat. "You had a little something.." She looked away and fished into her bag. "Here." She handed three yellow tickets to Lawrence before gently kissing his nose. "I'll see you then." Smiling, Ezra ran out, blushing as she waved goodbye to the twins.

Darian heard an arm go off in the distance. Something that a human would only hear faintly from this distance away pierced his ears, making him grimace. "Uhh, so tell me about yourself, Cinnamon." He grinned, and turned to the other. Darian crossed his legs and looked at Cinnamon eagerly, he was a sucker for a good life story.
