Lannah sat alone on the bus quietly strumming her guitar wondering what this new school her parents sent her to would be like. She watched the beautiful blue steams of light apear at her fingertips, and wonderd if other people could see it, or if it was just her. Lannah knew that the blue hue was reflecting her mood as she played, she was so entranced by the color she almost never realised that the bus had stopped. The bus driver walked up to her and looked a bit anoyed with her for making him wait for her to get off, his lips where hard to read because he kept looking away gesturing to the door, but Lannah got the message it was time to get off. She quickly gathered her things and got off the bus. Lannah stared for a moment in awe at the shear size of what appeared to be the main building, she then took a deep breath before starting to walk up to the main entrance, carrying her guitar, sactual bag and dragging her suitcase behind her.

She walks out of her dorm. She had gotten here quite early and had just finished unpacking. She pulls her good over her head and made the shadows inside cover her face so that none could see it. She always covered her face, not liking the stares and pointing fingers that she always got when she did otherwise.

She walked into her dorm room. Number three. She set her suitcase down and started to unpack. After she was finished she walked out of the room and tried to find some people. It was quiet and she didn't like it. Not one bit. So she went to go find someone to talk to.

Lannah continue walking with her head down struggling with her thing's unaware of Boaz' attempts to greet her. The closer she got to the building the more she started to shake with fear. Wondering how she could fit in, and knowing everyone would treat her as the little deaf girl and nothing else.

He watched as she walked passed him without hearing and realized that she must be deaf. He smiled. She may not be able to hear with her ears but it wouldn't stop he from hearing why was in her mind. Hello. I'm Boaz. It's nice to meet you. he said telepathically.

She jumped at the sound of a voice dropping her bag. It was very strange to her to hear anything she had been deaf at birth so this was a new experience, "who was that" she stuttered aloud still dazed and surprised.

A lone figure was present in the depths of a forest, at first glance they appeared to be nothing more than a black blur. A mere part of the darkness that lurked about the undergrowth. But when looking more closely, there appeared to be movement. A large, jet black shadow glided over the grass silently, like that of a predator hunting its prey. There seemed to be an unusual air about it, a stillness, almost. As if time had slowed down to a point where it was practically non existent.
As the creature manoeuvred its way through the undergrowth gracefully, the sun light filtering in through the canopy above cast even more shadows across the forest floor.

Personality - Jonah is very hard headed and tends to speak a lot. She fights for what she thinks is right and hates to be told what to do. She often has her head in the clouds (mainly because she'd rather be in the clouds) The avian has a fear of enclosed spaces and she gets flustered quite easily. Jonah just happens to be a loyal friend, however, and won't let her companions down. Due to the stamina it takes to fly, the avian eats massive amounts of food, usually a meal for 3 when she's hungry.
