Give a small grunt in agreement he turned and went back for the honey "The pippermint should help with pain.The Bahada seeds and kalmegh root will stop the fever and prevent coughing.The honey should make it taste better and it will cost your throat and help with the pain.Get some rest,you should be fine to talk and move around to your hearts content with the next hour."he said simply before walking towards the herbs putting them back where they belong.Staring down at the plants as he put them away he took inventory and wrote everything down before hiding them away again.Rubbing the back of his neck Ember shook his head to himself before grabbing his jacket and heading to the door."Dont touch anything."

She blinked tiredly, something human at the back of her head surprised at how well he knew the herbs and how delicate he was with the plants, though the rest of her was too drowsy. "...Thankyou," a soft breath seethed through her lips as she rested herself back, tangled up into the warm blankets and grasping the edge of the bed sheet with one feeble hand. Blood roared in her ears as she let her eyes fall, drearily dosing off. Her breaths became soft and eased as she slept, her dreams blackened and dark.

Stopping at the door he stared back at her his eyes still calm and collected without the slightest twinge of fondness.Watching her slip off into a peaceful slumber he huffed more out of habit then annoyance.Turning he slipped outside of the cabin and shut the door shifting as it clicked shut behind him.Shaking his fur the wolf padded back to the center of camp helping the mothers round up their children and get Setteled in.Slowly one by one the lights in the cabins flicked off until he was left in darkness with only Jax's fireplace illuminating the grounds.Sniffinf the air one last time he shifted and sat down infront of the fire.One leg pulled up to his chest and the other laying out infront of him he sighed and took in the sounds of the forest his eyes glazing over as he became part of the world.Though it looked like he was staring at the fire he was actually listening.Listening to the night owls talk and the morning birds settle into bed.He listened to the trees and the breeze and everything embetween.Listening for danger,for peace,for silence.

She woke up sometime later, her throat parched, her mouth dry as she slowly ran her tongue across her teeth. Groggily she peeled her eyes open into the darkness, her fingers tightening on the bed sheets as she made out the wooden roof of the cabin, drawing across the small grooves of bark shaded within the dead lighting. An owl gave a lone errie cry, her stomach riveting with that same, dry taste that whatever Ember had given her left. She simply sat there, tangled up in the blankets and staring out into the nothingness.

Breaking his Trance Ember shook his head and stood up.The air was clear of any threatening scents.There were no predators withen a few hundred feet of the camp that were awake let alone prowling.Brushing his bangs out of his eyes the man turned and walked back home hands shoved in his pockets.Walking up the cobblestone path to his home he unlocked the door and walked inside shutting it behind him and twisting the small lock.Lighting one of the candles as he passed he added more wood to the fire before walking over to the dresser peeling off his grimy white shirt and replacing it with a loose fitting tank top.

She blinked when she recognized the familiar thud of a door creaking shut, a faded light flickering in the background. She stayed silent, unmoving as she stared out the window. Ragged thoughts nagged at the back of her skull, the animal side of her grasping hold of the bedsheets, her breaths uneased, wary. For a moment she felt herself twist, her fingertips sliding into jagged claws, the fur about her mane and back now glistening within the darkness. Her cat eyes now stood out vibrantly within the shadows, hues of blue ringing her pupils as the tiger rested her head back down into the pillow, her tail flickering over the bed's edge. This shift was easier than the last, the strength seething through her long, lanky legs as she laid sprawled out on the blankets. It made her feel trapped, clamped up inside, yet she liked it, feeling well protected as she stared blankly at the walls.

Slowly turning around as he heard the other bed groan in protest he narrowed his eyes.Staring at the tiger now laying across the room he sighed and turned away shaking his head "No control..."he huffed softly cleaning off his hands before walking over to her and taking one of her ears in his hand "Your fever is lower."he said simply.Looking down at the tiger with his cold and emotionless eyes he sighed "Shift back,I don't allow large animals in the bed."he said blankly walking to his own bed and watching her.His glowing Amber eyes pierced into her with their cool and calculating stare watching how she approaches shifting back after being so weak from illness.

The tiger clenched her jaw, the springs inside of the bed screeching as she shifted her weight. Her ears gave an uneasy flicker, her vibrant blue eyes wavering up against his cool, sharp amber. Blotches of ink black striped her tail as it flickered over the bed's edge, her paws grappling over its side. "...I don't like shifting," the feline whispered, twisting the human words within her mouth as she felt her chest lurch, struggling to return to her original form. For a moment she shut her eyes in agony, her claws digging deep into the blankets as she felt bare skin crawl up her arms, her leeth body falling into something more slender, smaller. The bare edge of her fingertips grappled against the pillow, wisps of hair curtaining her face as she shifted. Blood roared in her ears, her eyes human as she glanced back up at him, gritting her teeth. "...It makes me feel like I'm drowning."
