Lucy stopped where she was as she heard Jake scream. The blood in her ears pounded in anger and she growled. She charged forward and grabbed Jay's throat with her jaws. She tossed the brute off and onto the shore of the river. She looked up at Jake with wide, loving eyes that she didn't notice she had either. She reached up and licked the blood from his arm, careful to not get her own blood from her wounds into his.

He looked at her, wincing as she licked the bite.

Lucy felt her eyes change red as she licked up the human blood. She backed away from Jake looking at him with fear that she would hurt him. She whimpered as if she was telling him to run before turning and bolting off to try and get animal blood into her system before she went completely evil.

[Wolfan Terror]

He frowned, clutching the bite on his arm. Now he knew that what a dogs bite would feel like, sort of. He thought. He was a bit confused and decided it was best if he got the hell out of there. So he quickly walked away.

Lucy found a small mouse and leapt on top of it crushing it easily. She tore apart its small body and ate it and all the blood quickly. Her spine shivered as her eyes turned back to green.

He tripped over a log and groaned as he hit the floor, there were tears in his eyes as he got up. He'd never been good with pain.

Jay had recovered from the shock of being thrown and beaten up. He stood up and sniffed the air before disappearing into the bushes.

Lucy limped to her den. Her wounds were starting to get to her. She licked the blood from her wounds before forcing herself to sleep. She dreamt of Jake and the way his eyes shined. They were so different from the wolves' eyes she had seen, even humans' eyes.

He managed to find the shelter he'd made and went inside, looking at his bite. This had to be high up on the list of worse things to happen to him

Alice leaned on the tree, humming.
