"Wha-?" She mumbled, hearing Van Dyke say he would protect her. "Where did the little scrub go, huh?" Eclipse whispered, scanning the area for Astrid.

Eclipse told Astrid the fight wasn't over.. And of course, it was true..

as best I can before picking her up and taking her back to the water
"Ya they are not very fun sorry" I told her before letting the others take her back to be treated
"Ugh what a horrible thing to do to someone just trying to have fun" I bristly spat "Hope he sniffs an explosive cactus..." I thought
"I came here on my own not because I needed permission I doubt she wanted me to come in the first place!" I mumbled stomping around the sand with quick sporadic movements while covering myself in cactus quills

"You're welcome." Able replied quietly, letting go of her and turning to walk to the beach. "We should go before the others start to worry."

Elaine sighed heavily, leaving Astrid to herself with a huff and walking back to the water's edge, standing there and staring over that massive sea of sparkling blue. Her gaze seemed sad and wistful as she recalled fond but distant memories. "..He loved days like this.." she mumbled, then looked down. "Guess this is what happens when you marry a human.."
