she whipped around and began to rant at him. "Why should I be the one to do all the damn work for you? Why should I be the one to be smart enough to make copies of your work so all of this doesn't and shouldn't happen? Who is the one here who is smart enough to realize that Azusa wants to be in there with Tyler so they can escape? ME! You're acting like a F***ing IDIOT so SHUT THE HELL UP AND STOP TREATING ME LIKE A PIECE OF SH**" Her blue eyes were blazing as her hands curled into a tight fist.

He looked stunned for a moment, then face fell into a bored expression as usual. Joel nodded curtly in acknowledgement and stepped past her to start rummaging through the files himself. "You're an assistant. What do you think you should be doing?" Joel muttered, trying to keep any irritation out of his voice. She'd never yelled like that... What had he done? Joel was Joel, and Maggie always put up with him. He really did value her, though, and it would probably be like losing a foot if she quit...

After composing himself, Jason started back the opposite way he came, so he would make a full trip around the perimeter of the lab. He stopped dead when he saw another person, though. It was odd for people to hang around the outside of the lab compounds, they were considered trouble makers... But the man only slowed a bit, he had no intentions of turning around just because of one creepy guy. But he did tense up a bit... Attracting fights was his specialty, after all, and it was rarely on purpose.

He turned a bit when he heard footsteps at the end of the hallway, and his eyes landed on Jason. Moving to now come off of the wall, he stood stiffly and watched silently.
Before he spoke aloud.
"Who are you.." he said, his voice with more wear for tearI don't know what I just said there..
His mind raced.. would he recognize him?

Maggie Hollins
She muttered something... quite rude under her breath and began to rummage through a different cabinet. Maggie wanted to literally just watch Joel beg her for mercy right now... Maggie got like that when she was overly tired. She was irritable and overly emotional, and at the moment on the brink of tears. One decided to fall into the paper files and she rubbed her eye to make the small amount of water go away. When she had finished through the cabinet and nothing was there, Maggie literally shoved the entire cabinet on its side and all the papers flew out, causing a massive mess on the floor around her. Maggie's body shook with anger and frustration as she did her best to just stand there and not crawl up in the corner.

He was silently awed that Tyler had survived for a month without food. Azusa loved food- but he wouldn't die without food for a few days. "I'll be good... For a few days," The scientist said ruefully, grinding his molars together out of irritation. "I wonder if they'll take pity on me?" Azu mused with some amusement. Would his colleagues take pity and feed him? Who knows... Azu could be very pitiful.

He watched her nonchalantly, and plucked out a paper that he then tucked into his coat. "Alright. Alright. Enough." Joel grumbled and step toward her- only to pick her up bridal-style. "To bed to bed... But I expect a bit of work in the morning, alright?" It was really a rehtorical question. Most scientists slept In the labs. So he set on carrying her toward 'her spot', where she usually slept.

"Mmm... Relax, dude. Just meeee~ the guy with awesome hair," Jason said nonchalntly, stopping when he got a bit closer to the man. "Hey, uh... Might I ask why you're hanging around here? I mean- I have no objection or anything... But I've never seen you before," He asked with some actual interest. This man was strange.

He nodded and sniffed a bit, watching the man closely. He didn't seem at all bad, and at the mention of not seeing him before made his lips quiver. "Of course you've never seen me before... It's vat zey all say.." he answered while shrugging a bit. "I'm surprised you've stuck around zhis long. Ozzer people don't like to stay und chat.." he said while raising his chin a bit.

she grumbled to herself with a scowl on her face so low Joel couldn't understand. But she was scolding herself for being an idiot and how horrible she was. When she lay down where she usually slept, she rolled to face she wall snd buried her face in her arms in utter frustration. It was hard for her to breathe... het throat was tight with fury not to Joel but to herself. Im going to have to clean that up tomorrow... she thought and the stress kicked in yet again, causing a tear to run down her cheek involuntarily. My fault as usual.. "if i hadn't let Azusa out this never would have happened" she muttered, her voice wavering as if she were about to cry. "If I hadn't he never would have shredded your papers and I wouldn't have yelled at you" Maggie still hadn't apologized for that... but she planned to maybe tomorrow. Maggie didn't like apologizing... but she knew Joel would hold a grudge if she didn't.

Piper gave a smile to Emma. "T-Thank you, Emma." She said, twirling a strand of hair on her finger. "But I d-don't believe I-I'm doing much.. T-This is the least I could do really. J-Just to be a little helpful, y-you know." She added, not meeting her gaze anymore to avoid shying away from it's intensity.

"Pity?" He scoffed. "Pity is a stupid word, as is mercy... No one's ever taken pity on me, no one's given mercy." He seethed. Was he angry about that? If so why? It didn't matter, he didn't care... he never did. "But I don't care. I don't. It doesn't matter, not at all. It's all about mind over matter..." He huffed, his eyes looking as if they were filled with water. Was Azusa taking pity on him? Is that the reason he stuck around as he did?

London hummed at the kiss before making another turn into the greenhouse. "Alright love, let's run some test. Now we're looking for Cytotoxicity. If the cells contain high doses of Cyanide then it's no good and we can mark of this soil as bad. I know you can do it. Now let's get to it." London ordered plucking out the carrots from the ground and placing them on the table.

Chess nodded, blushing when London called him 'love'. He still held the older man's hand until they reached the large structure of the greenhouse, only then releasing his hold. Chess was nervous, for he hadn't done these types of tests before now, but he had seen London do it. Chess slowly approached the carrots, retrieving the equipment needed to run the tests. He blushed and looked away in embarrassment. "Um... I-I kinda don't know what to do..." What if London thought he was useless now?
