"In is a suggestive word Shay."Noore said softly shaking her head at the question "No he was never In the Industry.In implies that that he was part of the organization.No,He was their boxing bag,their Guinea pig.They tested him,they trained him to sit,to stand,to listen and obey like their loyal dog.They pampered him,fed him,gave him a room so that while he was still a teen he didn't try to escape.It wasn't until he turned 19 that they snatched all of that away from him.They beat him up,broke him down,people he thought were his friends chained him up and stuck him,prodded him.His whole life was destroyed and he couldn't do anything about it..."she fell silent a moment before shaking her head and getting back on track "He always had new doctors.But there was always one who stayed.She was relentless.She was cold and saw no wrong in what she did to him.She put him through various tests none of which he can even vaguely remember.But there was this one that he never forgot...The woman had stuck him in an empty room.He said he remembers being tired and confused and for a long time nothing happened.He was in that room for hours staring at a white wall when a small hatch opened and a large slithering cobra uncoiled itself and stared into him.The creature,he said,was emotionless.It was black with a red stripe down its back and black fangs dripping a blue liquid.He said he couldn't move as the creature slithered towards him.Like his body was frozen as it curled around his body and sunk its fangs in his neck.He remembers falling and the sounds of shouting voices.Somthing had gone wrong.His eyes were open but he couldn't see.Couldnt talk.couldnt breath.And he was scared.The only voice that reached his ears was muceled but audible.The woman.She was speaking in a dismissive tone as if she didn't care what happened to him she said he was dead.That her experiment had failed and it was back to testing."she said as she ran her thumb over the book "Of course it's a far fetched story but I believe it.I wouldn't put it past the Industry"she said staring at her .

She gritted her teeth, her eyes wavering as she felt the hard sobs rack against her chest, crying. For a moment she held her breath, biting her lip miserably and glancing directly back up at him, stiffening her hiccups and drawing a short huff of frustration. In a haste she quickly ran her hands over her eyes, wiping the tears away as much as she could, feeling the dread heavy as it sunk down to the pit of her stomach. "...I-I didn't...it wasn't... No. The snake was just another test, Ember. We were curious how well you'd react underneath the stress, with the 3-9 while it was still beneath its begining stages...but you didn't react at all. You didn't shift, you didn't transform. You just sat there. You failed...you died," she murmured breathlessly, her voice a mere whisper, feeble. "...And I hadn't cared one bit."

Shay was part of the industry, where they kept shifters and tested them, tortured them))

At her comment he backed away his skin prickling with rage "Shay your men threw me into that room with nothing and left me in their for hours!"he roared angrily before giving a snarl of rage and shifting.His wolf was towering.Its Amber eyes Angry and his body trembled his fur was on edge and his lips were drawn back and bared.His muceled quivered as if he wanted to attack her.But he didn't no matter how much his wolf wanted to.Shaking he threw up his head and let out a roar of rage before turning and slashing the ground in irritation.Stalking around her he charged and jumped on her pinning her to the ground his hackles raised "Shift."he growled in her ear his eyes a burning fire. He was pissed. his composure was gone.His saftey lock shattered his bubble poped.

Benjamin growled loudly, shifting into his sabertooth, knocking off Ember with force and letting his roar bellow over him. "Back off. You do not need to start a fight Ember. You're just letting your rage get to you." He pinned his auditories back as he covered over Shay, protecting her.

She staggered back, crumbling to the ground beneath his weight, her arms protecting her face as best as she could as she curled up. Shay let out a small wimper as she shifted, shoving her muzzle to the ground and refusing to look back up at him, her paws splayed out as she laid there. "...Fine, what are you going to do to me, Ember? Lock me up in a room for hours? I'm sorry, okay...I was eighteen then. I was human, then. I knew you as a mere number, number forty three. That's who you were to me, I was senseless, heartless, cold...I was stupid. And I ruined you, Ember...I don't know how I'll ever forgive myself for what I had been," she murmured breathlessly into the ground, unmoving. As Ben knocked him off of her she steadied herself a little, though it made no deference.
"...No, it's fine Benjamin. Let him have it. I've done my fair share to him, he...Ember needs to let it out. I won't care, anyway."

He snapped, growling at Shay, "No." His tone was deep, and serious. "No one is fighting, no one is getting hurt. No one is dying. Understood?" His dark orange eyes gleamed into her soul, before returning a glance at Ember, "Let's just go back to our cabins, okay?"

Ember yelped as he was knocked off of Shay and twisted around on the ground facing the tiger now he growled lowly but said nothing taking a few cautious steps back. Looking at Shay as she shifted he listened.His wolf eased at the sight of her wolf and its instinct melted away ever so slightly.Huffing slightly Ember narrowed his eyes watching him stare at Shay.Oddly enough in all the chaos his wolf didn't like that to much.The way he stared into her like he was.It made his wolf seeth on the inside."Shay if I wanted you dead or hurt I would have let you die in that bear trap.Just keep that in mind."he murmered before turning and padding back to the cabins.

Revolving his auditories, he calmed, straightening up and stepping off of Shay transforming and watching him leave, "Just give him some time okay?" He nodded, grabbing his stick and slowly sharpening it with his black-handled switchblade, sitting in the dirt staring at her.

She rose to her paws stiffly, wincing as she quickly trailed after Ember, her wolf giving a soft pleading whine. Her tail was tucked gingerly between her legs, her ears splayed as she drew up beside him, following him. "...Ember I- I just wanted you to hear me out. I needed to tell you the truth, so that you could see me as I really am, who I was then... Now I...you know you mean a lot to me. I dream about it every night. I regret it, I regret it all...will you ever forgive me? It's okay if you want me to go...I'll...I'll leave you alone now."
