There was a bit of silence that stretched between the group before movement caught her attention. It was Adrian pulling up his hood. Her gaze lingered on him for a moment as if she was trying to have a silent conversation with him or read his mind. Until she turned away to face the Runemeth General and Xander again. "Gentlemen, if you'd both be so kind as to make yourselves at home in the throne room? I'll call the apothecary to go to you there and see someone fetches you when your rooms are prepared. You'll let the servants that escort you know if you'll take supper with my family or in your rooms and will be accommodated according to your preferences.", said the young queen in a tone that suggested their meeting was over for the time being. Aralynn then turned to the hooded male vampire, "If you'll escort me to my chambers Sir? I have a letter to address and see off to Runemeth."

Fallon nodded, "Yes to both, the kid came and collected it. Called it Roan I think or something similar.", he confirmed. He paused before, "Have I ever lied to you before Kon? Seriously?"

The girl tensed upon hearing that vampires hunted humans. " H.....Humans? They hunt....people?" she stated worriedly, clearly a bit freaked out upon that fact, but she didn't do much else in regards to the new knowledge. Had jessica wished to harm her, she would've done so by now. " But..why people? Could animals not work just as well?"

For one who never does anything but sacrifice their wellbeing for others, it is ok to be selfish every now and then." he said, before he tensed. There was someone approaching...someone who wasn't quite human. If it had been a human, he would have taken cover in the shadows unless Aralynn needed protection. However, since it was a vampire, he stayed on guard, pulling Aralynn gently behind him in a protective fashion. However, he couldn't help but feel there was someone awake in the back of his mind, silently watching and listening to the conversation. It was about halfway through Kenji's story when that ever-so-hated voice spoke in his head. [i] You know, It takes quite a bit to put me down for the count...but i'm not even near my full strength. That being said, it was rather rude of you to shut up your guide...therefore, I think I'll take back control for now. [i] Al had barely any time to brace himself before Adrian took over, maintaining Al's momentary mannerisms. The only change, that anyone would note (and even then it was unlikely.) was the slight change in the shade of blue of his eyes. From that point he remained silent for the rest of the story, even as the other vampire looked at him in an almost warning manner....hm...who was that vampire again anyway....he seemed familiar....Ah, that's right. Kenji. Kenji Spiro, his old...well, that wouldn't be discussed at this time, might as well not reflect on it. When Kenji eyed him again, however he gave the slightest of smirks. Would Kenji recognize him in this state? Or would he brush it off as just dejavu?.nonetheless, he couldn't help but wonder if there were still those who carried out his plans... or maybe a few of his drudges. Yet his attention was once again changed as the scent of yet another vampire and one of the heirs started permeating the air. Narrowing his eyes the male had to focus on not baring his fangs as he spoke through gritted teeth. " It appears we have some unwelcome guest nearby." unwelcome could mean many things. Intruders, for example, or in this case people he personally didn't want around at this moment in time. He didn't want to have to explain his presence to the heir, but he could vanish with that other human near Kenji. In addition, though he wasn't sure if the other vampire was friend or foe, it was going to be hard to feed at this rate. The other vampires would smell the queen's blood and come running, thinking she was being attacked. Letting out a huff, he pulled the hood of his jacket back over his head, concealing his identity as best he could. He listened quietly as Aralynn spoke, giving her a questioning look as he was told to follow her. " Your wish is my command, m'lady." of course, he would have preferred to call her sweetheart, but he figured it would be detrimental to his situation giving the surrounding people. " Seeing as it's be a rather long, stressful day for you m'lady, may I recommend we hurry along? Especially seeing as your family is awaiting their meal, it would be ideal to take care of the letter in a careful but quick fashion." with that he bowed slightly extending his hand out to the queen.

The young blonde nodded, "Yes you're right. I want to surprise them when they get home so best make it quick and thorough. I only hope he is an understanding man.", she agreed. Aralynn moved to close the gap between her and the vampire when he offered her a hand but stopped. Recalling Al's words of warning, the teen loosely took Adrian's arm with her own but kept a careful distance between them. She had the feeling there would be questions but this was the best option she could come up with. It would be far easier for her escort to leave unprohibited and risk free from her rooms rather then anywhere else with guests up and about.

She sighed as she nodded. “Yes, but most don’t take too much...Why do you think I said I hate it?” she asked, shaking her head. She swallowed, ignoring the flash of pain from the thirst. She shrugged to herself, wondering a moment if she needed to go shopping...for hay or grain for her enployers’ horses. “I...don’t know...maybe?” she questioned herself. “There’s the castle.” she pointed.

He hummed quietly as he glanced to the dog a moment, own head tilting as though in imitation of the dog Theo. He noticed the dog grin, smiling a bit, and hummed as he glanced to the ground a moment. He looked up when the dog spoke. He giggled a bit, then shook his head. “Sunburnt garlic allergied polite dog...” he muttered, shaking his head at the stab part. He smiled at the fact the dog yipped and pranced, nodding at him. “I guess? I’ve only heard of like nickel and copper causing allergic reaction rashes...” he muttered. He shrugged at the burnt part, as well.. Humming, he tilted his head as he glanced to the dog. He watched the ears a moment, then shook his head at himself. He swallowed at the growled menacing, flinching a bit... “O-Okay...” he muttered, glancing fully at him when he spoke. He huffed a bit but did in fact listen to the other male, humming a moment then silencing. “Yes, it’s strange behavior.” he giggled, then looked solemn. “Vampires are trying to get the Embere throne?” he snorted. Why the heck would they want? Shaking his head, he watched the dog keep his muzzle to ground though speaking. He tilted his head as he glanced about once more, wondering why the dog was still doing so...Shrugging, he turned his attention to walking.

They passed some guards, whom he simply raised a hand in acknowledgment to, then they were away from them. He couldn’t smell anything...naturally, but apparently Theo was, seeing as he was a dog right now, with a dog’s nose. He kept his head down a few moments, not noticing the dog’s attention to them, or that they passed by guards and finally got away from where they’d be. He just continued to walk, so focused on it he didn’t know where they were, and he squeaked when muzzle touched hand. He finally raised his head, looking to the dog. He let him talk, though showed obvious worry. “She...She’s with someone dangerous?” he whimpered quietly, in case someone should pass by. He shook his head, sighing, then nodded at the vampire-in-dog-form once more. “O-Okay...” he muttered. He made a small sound when the dog moved so hand now rested on head, shaking his head again. He hummed quietly as he did as the dog seemed to want, scratching lightly behind pointy and silky ears.

Koon, a beautiful tan, dark brown and white sheepdog, yipped and pawed at his owner. Jamie huffed at their dog, blinking open their eyes and staring over the side of the bed at him a moment. He’d settled back down down there after they’d huffed. They sat up, swinging their feet over the edge then standing. Stretching, they brushed their hair, changed into day clothes and went downstairs, Koon by their side.

Aralynn won't have to be so worried now." she said that with a smile before glancing at Jessika. " I'm sure she'll be most thankful to you as well for returning me home safely. I"m sure if you'd like she can have a room prepared for you... my only request is please don't do any, ah, hunting of any creature on castle grounds, please."

Once she did take his arm, he allowed her to guide him in the direction of her room, while he stayed on alert for any danger. Though he only remained silent until they were out of human earshot. It was questionable weather or not the vampires would still be able to hear them or not, however, as not all vampires had the increased hearing. " Well well sweetheart, sounds like's you've had quite the day. Everything just keeps getting better and better, doesn't it?" he questioned, eyeing her once again like a predator would its prey. " I could help you with your dinner, if you wish. Although we have matters to discuss first, in addition to your letter to Runemeth."

"I appreciate the offer but I don't think it would be a good idea for you to remain here much longer. Even if you can come and go as you wish we have guests now you didn't get to avoid in time. It's not that I am not fond of our visits, but we got lucky.", the teen said as they made their ways down cooridoors towards where the queen's personal chambers lay. Did it feel odd leading the man doqn these halls? Yes. Was it possibly stupid? Yes. But this way the male vampire had a safe place in the palace to wait for her during their meetings as no soul would bother her without permission. Her personal living space was her haven and the safest place in the palace. Aralynn was carefull in how she spoke picking her words and tone carefully, being sure to keep them from being too curt or short with Adrian. "As for what needs discussing? I imagine we do have a bit to discuss and will but the letter will remain my bussiness. It'll just be a simple appology and explanation of the situation we have run into as far as what happened to General Spiro."

" I have my reasons for not hiding sweetheart. One of your so-called guests was a child of the night. With all these happenings, I couldn't be sure he wasnt a threat to your life. " he turned to look at her. " in fact, there are two children of the night in this castle along with me, and i'm still not sure if they are threats or not." He was silent for a few moments before continuing. " believe me, I could care less what you write to that so-called king. I was just saying there were matters to discuss and you need to write that letter. None the less, onto our matters... we need to talk about your end of the deal. Surely by now you've some idea as to what I am, and what your role in the deal entails, yes?"

At the break where she spoke to the suspiciously hooded figure Xander looked with wide eyes back to Kenji. When they took their leave in a bit of a hurry the man shot a look after the man with her and turned to talk to the dark-haired man next to him. He had only just opened his mouth when he moved his head to peer down the opposite hall at the sound of a bark, followed shortly by a large, wolf-like dog and... the prince? Too many strange things were going on at the moment for Xander to gather his bearings and bow. “Wh- a dog?” He sputtered out, sounding more genuinely confused than angry.

Theo’s ears swivelled back at Akihito’s inquiry of why anyone would want to overtake the throne. “Well you see, a throne has power, yes? And though your guardian rules as she feels fit there are others that oppose her message.” The black dog paused as he allowed hims ears to be stroked, his eyes closing very briefly before looking up at the prince and continuing. “I don’t pay too much mind to politics and war- it’s all too boring if I have little to actually care about. Now that- uh, now that I’m fond of you, I believe it’s about time I find out what’s going on.” The canine shook itself before pricking his ears to hear what was going on only to hear steps heading in the other direction and whispering. Though Theo could not exactly make out the words it still told him that at least one of the other vampires was aware of him.

“Let’s go!” Theo whispered harshly, silently commanding the heir to follow. He let a loud bark cover his words. “They’re onto us.”

The shepherd made sure to keep his pace slow enough to not leave Aki behind but charged ahead, only stopping when he came across a vampire and human soldier in a hallway. He barked again, this time in confusion at the sight, though quickly stopped and glanced back to Akihito. It did appear a perplexing sight, however the queen and another accompanying vampire were still taking their leave. The pair did not sound like there were in a hurry.

Theo whined, then panted and sat at Akihito’s feet as he waited for him to catch his breath. He did not want to speak and completely give away his disguise to the two guards(?) standing nearby. His whines and suspicious nose-gestures to the two along with the corridor to the queen’s chambers made his intent clear enough hopefully. Now, he had little direction as to what to do next, and though he doubted Akihito had much of a plan, was looking to him for answers.

She nodded at the other female, younger than hers3lf, brushing through red hair a moment. “Yes, it should be good.” she saud, nodding once more because of the mention of the queen. She yawned once more, shaking her head, then glanced at the heiress. She snorted, saying “Well, Princess, I can’t hunt at all...There seems to be guards on the street.” With that, she quickly nudged the horses to canter, warning Akira beforehand. Once they reached the castle, she tied Carniss to a log or tree in the yard, waiting for Akira to do the same with Zephyr.

He huffed quietly a bit, tilting his head a moment as he glanced from the dog to the ground and back again. He huffed at the news people didn’t like Aralynn... “Are those humans...or vampires?” he asked, still petting and scratching behind the pointed ears. He watched the dog look up at him, allowing him to continue to speak as he pleased. He waited through it, though when Theo mentioned being fond...Aki found himself blushing once more, as he had a few times. He watched him perk his ears, now able to hear footsteps too, as they were very near the ones whom walked away. He tilted his head as he glanced to the big black dog, not as big as a mastiff but big enough to be called big. He squeaked when the dog yip whispered, as it was a harsh sound, yet only followed the dog when it seemed he was commanded to. He swallowed nervously, shivering a bit despite the cloak...

He hummed as he watched the dog charge, though he was able to keep up and stay just behind him. He continued to gently hum, tilting his head when the dog barked once more, seeming confused or an alert, perhaps both. He squeaked upon seeing the two men he though must have been the prisoners...How had they gotten out, though? He noticed Theo seemed to be waiting for him. He coughed once, shaking his head, and placed a hand on the dog a moment, studying the men. He’d not missed the whine Theo gave, either. “Are you two the ones the guards dragged away?” he asked Xander quietly. He noticed how Theo kept gesturing towards Aralynn’s room... “Wh...Is someone with my s...sister?” he suddenly asked, looking to Xander and Kenji with worry in his eyes. They’d better tell him, and they’d better tell him now...He didn’t say this out loud, however.
