Josie / Human / Location: Howler Border /H Town Tags: Open/Leo??
Josie twisted a lock of her hair around a finger as she stared up at the billows of smoke coming from the forest. The scream of a cougar sent a shiver down her spine. Her thoughts immediately jumped to an unusually large and muscular cheetah. The red-haired girl cringed and rubbed her temple. She couldn't risk going out there again, but she needed to know if he was ok..
Josh / Quell Noble / Location: Aboveworld / Tags: Arkady/Hawthorne, Donnie+Basil??
Josh watched as Hawthorne and Arkady ran past, though to his surprise it wasn't another chase. Eyes narrowed suspiciously he slunk off of his wall and moved silently after the two. His dark hair whisped with red gave away one of his powers, the black was nearly invisible with how dark his natural hair color was. He jogged silently, finding it enjoyably difficult to keep up with the two. His deep brown eyes only narrowed even more as the unknowing duo led him to the aboveworld. He had only been here a few times, and it's towering trees and beautiful blue skies never ceased to amaze him. Josh was appalled, however, to see the once pale blue sky darkened with thick billowing smoke plumes. He growled under his breath and stole a glance at the ever growing flames. Angered that someone would want to destroy something as great as this he ran head on into the flames, but before quickly brushing his hand against Arkady's tail to absorb her powers. He shifted into an animal- a wolf, almost black with bright amber/yellow eyes. Josh felt oddly satisfied that he could really show his frustration, letting out a guttural snarl before leaping towards the flames. They charred the end of his pelt as he ran horizontal to the flames. He had been staring at the trees above when he yelped in surprise and had to throw himself to the side to avoid hitting the man from earlier. Joshua couldn't control the low growl that rumbled deep in his wolf throat. His energy was draining and his animal form convulsed, leaving a shuddering boy laying face-up on the ground. He didn't take long to recover and bounced to his feet, his hands trembling at his sides. "How can I help turd nugget?" his husky voice was sarcastic, but the crumpled worried look on his face said otherwise as he stared at Donnie.
Addison / Howler Alpha Female / Location: Howler Territory / Tags: Ceasar
Addison glanced at ceasar, her amber eyes widened, "That nose of yours will get you into trouble one of these days.." she teased lightly. The puma gradually slowed her gait, the stench of smoke stinking her delicate nose. A horrified look rippled across her maw as her thoughts were flooded with her brothers and sisters in danger and in pain. She felt the stinging burn of fire on her pelt as an image of Juniper flashed across her gaze. A gurgled screech escaped her lips before she crumpled to the cold ground. Her large frame quivered as she returned to human form, tears glistening off of her tanned face, "Ceasar... They're all in danger out here, you must call them back to camp." speaking as her true self, her human self, came more naturally despite the waver in her voice. The pain she felt when she was an animal had subsided to a dull headache, "And Juniper.. Many have been hurt." She stood on shaky legs, drained of all energy, "Go. I'll be right behind you-" she staggered into a tree, wincing as her shoulder met with the bark. A ripple sent her body convulsing until she was a cougar again, kicking up leaves as the invisible fire scorched her pelt and sent searing pain across her back and sides. Addison rolled to her paws and shook off her pelt. She did her best to block out the pain of her family that she felt and gave a stern, hard look at the alpha male, "It's only spreading faster by the second, don't delay for anything!" she hissed, ears flat against her thick skull. She prayed he would be able to beat the fire back to the camp before it engulfed everything they knew and loved. Addison gave one last warm look at the gigantic wolf before she sprang into the trees, her paws hitting the ground and thrumming softly. The puma's face was hard set and determined- she needed to find her injured brother and sisters and bring them home safely.
