Like they agreed, Lola appeared back at Jason's dock. Her head emerged from the water, her hair plastered against the side of her face. She moved the hair from her face and tossed it over her right shoulder. The mermaid glanced around, searching for either Jason or his canine companion, Kai. She was quite excited to be watching a movie, since she had never had the experience.

"Well," Thomas started, shrugging his shoulders, "the goblin shark, for one. I saw a lot of creepy pictures of sea creatures that I'd rather not meet face-to-face." Daniel heard the faint sound of splashing, and he turned his gaze to the dark area. Was it a fish or one of his own kind? He male crouched down, wanting to find the source of the noise.
