Jay blew out a long breath. He knew the wolf-girl had seen him, and she probably knew that he had seen her, and passing by without saying anything would have made it even more awkward, thus making Jay even more nervous. He put on his most non-fake forced smile he could, and said, with his voice muffled.
"Hey, again!" He kind of walked over to her, and stood some 2 yards away, hands buried deep in his pockets

Night laughed lightly at him, "Don't be nervous I'm not going to hurt you. I just want to help. The city is no place for a shapeshifter." She held out the bag of candy, "want some?"

He grinned sheepishly.
"Sure, thanks!" He took one and moving into a sitting position so that he was facing her, leaning back on his hands.
"Being a shifter here could be worse... At least i'm not stuck as one species. Especially the fish ones... Those seriously freak me out!" He shuddered and his tail twitched.

Night laughed again, "I'm actually quite happy with my form. Ever seen a Dire wolf? Most humans haven't, at least not in a very long time, makes me a pretty unlikely target."

"I have heard about them, but no, I have never seen one, but I hear that they were reeeeeallly vicious," He paused.
"Not that i'm saying you are... Heh." He rubbed the back of his neck.
"I prefer a lion or tiger. All it has is ears and a tail, which makes people hate me a little less, I suppose. But I bite my tongue all the time, and it really hurts!" He kind of smiled at this.

Night smiled t the thought, "I'm only really aggressive when I need be. A lion or a tiger would do really well out in the mountains. There's no hunters, plenty of prey and lots of space to call your own."
(gonna run and grab dinner. be back ASAP)

"I guess, but you can transform into a full wolf! I only get some of the features. It must be awesome!" He was looking at her eagerly now, most of his nervousness gone.

"I can," she smiled, "I'm sure you have to get back to work but if you want I could take you out towards the forest and phase for you."

He checked his old and worn watch.
"Yeah... I do... But that would be awesome!" He smiled. "Can you come around 5? That's when I get off.."

"Of course," Night stretched and pulled one last bag of candy out, "Here. Eat this at work, I'm gonna hunt to pass the time."
