Kota - in the forest near his house (also near where Tzipora is)
Living away from town isn't so bad in Kota's opinion. There's more trees and less noise. The only problem is living so close to that strange mansion. The animals are wary of that place, so he is too. And speaking of animals, they seem to be especially agitated about it tonight. I wonder what's wrong... Kota thinks, gathering up the basket of wild dandelions he had spent the late afternoon collecting. A crow flies overhead cawing a warning, and a shiver runs down Kota's spine. It's getting late; I better get back home. With a slow and steady pace, he makes his way through the mossy trees and steps carefully over ferns and fallen logs. Even if he can't see them in the increasing darkness, somehow he can tell that they're there.
Suddenly he stops, and his face pales a little bit as he realizes he's not alone. There's someone in a tree nearby. He can hear her excited breathing.
"Hello?" He calls softly, not wanting to surprise anyone. He's also a little nervous; there've been weird things happening around the forest late at night recently.
