" Everythin feels better if you look up instead of down." He shifted his weight and seemed to yawn slightly. He loved the fresh air that circled him, it relaxed him with every single breath he took.

"I suppose you're right." He looked up to the sky. "It's one of the only good things about being in the compound. That and knowing that there's actually other people here, rather than having to assume they are." Kaei shrugged and looked at Harley, "Hey, I still don't know your name. It'd be nice to know, being I'd like to hang out with you while we're here and all. " He flashed a small smile.

"No matter where we are, the stars never change. They're probably the only certainty." He laughed softly, then hearing kaei's comment about wanting to hang out. Really?? Someone wanted that? He simply gave a light, boyish smile as he spoke. "I'm Harley. And you?" He really was facinated by this other boy. He loved the way that people interacted and all the small differences. The way they'd pronounce words...the way their bodies moved as they spoke..it was all so real to him. Almost moreso than the bodies that littered the streets. The air around the compound stunk of death and rotting meat, when the compound smelt of trees and pine an flowers. It was a false sense of security, away from the rest of the world.
