Lucy began growling, snarling, and barking at Jay. Jay then darted forward, narrowing his red eyes at her. Lucy yelped as Jay pinned her down and began digging her claws at his stomach. Jay growled in frustration and bit into her shoulder blade angrily. Lucy yelped and shoved Jay off before leaping at him, both of them flying into the river like one big ball of fur.

He had stared at them as they fought, watching them trouble into the river. He could tell the other one was bad and wanted to help, so he did the stupidest thing he could do. Once there heads broke the surface he chucked a rock at Jay.
