her eyes widen as he declined. “This cake is probably one of the best things I’ve tasted aside from some super chocolaty drink that I get at a coffee shop.” She used a knife and fork to cut it into pieces. So she wouldn’t get her fingers messy. She was just eating one as he asked his question. Thinking for a moment, her shoulders shrugged. “Can I not have a friend?”

Ravi watched with amazement as he got reminded of how human demons could be. He also got reminded of how adorable they could act. He tried to push his amazement aside and nodded a little, “Well...
