My aura was drawn more to him and I tried to shake it off. It was something that had to do with the fact that Miles was a Valentin. He was messing with my emotions, and I could not fight his aura as easily as I thought I could. "You are something I have never seen." I purred out and snapped my mouth closed. I did not like how that had sounded, how my own voice sounded. My eyes watched him as he inched closer to me and my eyes quickly shifted to black but then snapped back to normal.

I had gotten annoyed with how the girls formed a bond and I needed to get away. Breathing in deeply, I walked around aimlessly in the halls until I found a music room. Stepping inside, I located a nearby piano and sat down on the bench. My fingers dangled over the keys before I gently started to play random tunes. It was a good distraction from life.

My eyes scanned over the book I was reading. It kept my attention and my aura was small so no one around could feel that I was a Valentin. It was raining softly but I had found a small gazebo to sit under. It looked elegant among the trees and seemed to be secluded. I could not feel any other auras around me.

Rain could be seen from below the water, as it dripped steadily onto the water. My eyes watched it carefully before swimming to the surface of the watering hole. The fresh rain felt good on my skin as I enjoyed the fresh air and took a few deep breaths in. My tail gleamed under the water and I pulled back the wet hair from my face. The Watering Hole was empty, probably from the rain, but a rainbow tried to force itself out from behind the small clouds.

The University was larger than I had originally remembered it to be. It stood high and proud, but my mind flashed back to when it was in flames a few years back. Hunters had learned the position of the University and attacked, but Principle Clay was able to cast a spell with a former Witch colleague and rehide the location of the University. I sighed and walked through the front doors and towards the dorm halls.

The dorms were boring so I had made myself comfortable in the field. My flames were itching to come out and the field was empty. I could enjoy this peaceful time and burn things. Opening my palms, I let loose my flames as they charged through the field. My eyes turned a reddish color and the flames were huge was they wrapped around the trees in the field.

The camp was empty as they remaining hunters went home to find more members. I was the 2nd in command but our group was small. The defeat at the University had gotten the best of us, and now we were back at square one. We had lost alot of members and now- more paranormals were able to live and thriving behind the safe hold of that University.

jay stared in wonder as he watched ice from ashley's fingertips spread on the walls, he really wanted to look at his hands in disappointment since none of this is possible for him. when she suddenly apologized, jay shook his head,"oh no that is beautiful! i have no creativity so i don't know how to make things prettier. thank you so much, wow." he carefully touched the walls knowing full well that his hand was unnaturally hot from the energy that he can produce. true to her word, the ice stayed cool under his hand instead of melting into slush making him want to hug the wall. jay forgot that she was still holding the statue out for him and now that he knew it wasn't going to melt, he reached out and took it. holding the ice statue in both hands he placed it gently on his wooden study desk the university provided. as jay placed it in a corner he felt raindrops falling through the open window and he quickly latched it back closed. he turned back to ashley and asked, "when we are done do you want to grab something to eat at the cafeteria maybe? i hope it's open all day."

"Sure, why not? We still have a lot to do, though. Hopefully the rain lets up." Ashley said, looking back at Jay. "Hmm? What's this?" She saw something on the bed. An envelope. It was small and quaint, with a heart seal on the front. Classical and cheesy. Ashley walked over to it, carefully opening it without Jay's permission. It could be a letter from prison, for I she knew. Once the other was finally open, Ashley pulled out a small sheet of paper. It was an invitation to a school ball. "" Hey, Jay, come over here. " Ashley said, mentioning for him to come.

jay heard ashley call for him and came over, curious what the letter would read. "a school ball? no thanks, i would rather rot in a garbage can than go to a social event like this." he meant it. there was no way you can drag an antisocial kid like him to a ball. sure he would be quietly suffering if you bring him to a small party but a ball? no, do you want him to die?

entering a new school was always scary. one was never sure if they would fit in with the crowd. if they'd find someone to hang out with. or if they'd have a good time or not. going to a new school was tough and as he stared up at the ancient castle known as red moon university tyler felt a rush of adrenaline course through his veins. new things weren't exactly a thing that he liked. sure a new shirt was nice. maybe a new phone. but new faces and new places weren't always the nicest. the people could either be kind and accepting or cold and rejecting. ((look at me with all these rhymes)) and tyler was sure that he would get lost in such a large place. he was directionally challenged and this school looked like it had many floors and corners and rooms to be navigated. shouldering the bag that he had with him and gripping onto the handle of his guitar case the vampire pushed his way through the large wooden doors. entering the foyer tyler was struck with something magical ,, that's probably because this place is magical ,, however this was a different type of magic. the place was very old looking seeming to come right out a fairy tale. the walls seemed to hold secrets of the past that it has seen. different hallways led off in different directions and staircases led up to many floors.

now the question was which staircase and which floor led to his dorm room. that was the first struggle that he encountered. glancing off down the corridor to his right then to his left tyler sighed. and the adventure begins. not seeing any signs anywhere the vampire goes with his instinct and starts down one of the nearby hallways. this proved to not be a place where the dormitories were. no matter because tyler trekked on and only found some classrooms down a different section of the castle. and thus around and around he went trying to find where the dorms were. left and right. up and down. nothing seemed right. ((more rhymes!)) until finally he gave up. it was no use walking around in circles trying to find a place he didn't know the location of. so why even try? yup. what a great mentality. leaning against the wall he slid down into a sitting position. maybe someone would come around and help him out. resting his head back against the wall tyler stared up at the ceiling. the halls were pretty silent which was a bit unsettling. he wasn't used to complete silence. there was always some sort of background noise back home whether is be the sound of birds chirping high in the trees ,, cars driving along the street ,, his annoying sisters being annoying. but at the moment all he heard was the sound of silence.

then the soft noises of an instrument sifted its way through the quiet halls. tyler recognized it as a piano. an instrument that he enjoyed hearing as well as playing ,, however he was much better at guitar. the noise was coming from a close by room which meant someone was around. possibly someone who could help him find his dorm. on the other hand now as he thought about it tyler wasn't exactly sure about talking to a stranger. did he want to waste away in the halls for the rest of his life or find his nice soft bed and rest? the former won him over. pushing himself up to his feet tyler grabbed his bag and guitar case and started toward where the sound of the piano was coming from. it wasn't a long walk ,, just a few yards down the hall ,, until he came to a stop outside of an open door. peering in he took not of the different instruments strewn about. it was a music room. he was happy to know that the university had one. it would be a place where he could come to rest and refuel after a long day. that is if he remembered where it is. his eyes scanned the room and feel upon a figure at the piano. a guy probably around his age with blonde hair. for a moment tyler stood in the doorway and listened to him play.

school. school school school. what a strange word. university. college. school. they all meant the same thing yet had different meanings. that seemed to be the way with many human things. say one thing and it could mean another. elysha wasn't standing outside of a school. nor was she standing outside of a college. on the contrary. she was standing before a university. the university of red moon to be exact. but in her eyes the three words meant the same thing. a place of teachings and a place of learning. where she grew up there was no such thing as a school. the young were taught outside by their elders because there was no need for there to be a specific building to be taught in. in fact there weren't any buildings at all because centaurs can't really fit through doorways in the first place. elysha learned that the hard way when she first entered human civilization. anyway ,, el trotted toward the large school building with apprehension. closed spaces weren't her most favorite thing in the world and she feared that while the outside of the school looked quite large that on the inside everything would be very tiny and cramped.

however as she entered the school elysha was surprised to find that she needn't worry too much. the ceiling was higher than expected so she wouldn't have to duck her head all the time and there was enough room to do a full three sixty if needed. the only downfall was that there looked to be no windows to provide any sunlight or a nice breeze if needed. that was a bummer. fully knowing where she was heading ,, unlike some ginger kid who looked completely turned around ,, elysha cantered off toward the dormitories. another strange word which she had only recently learned the definition of. so many strange words that humans used. elysha figured she would have to start to write them down. after a few minutes of searching el found herself standing outside of a door with her room number on it. having to bend down to reach the door handle elysha turned it and pushed the door open. ducking beneath the door frame and squeezing her horse half through the door was somewhat of a struggle but she managed to get herself through.

pulling off her saddle bags she gently laid them on the floor and took a look around. the room was decent and big enough for her. however the bed was impractical. she would never be able to use it. the bed frame would break underneath the weight of her! pulling the mattress off of the bed and she laid it on the ground. it would due for now though she did wonder if she'd ever use it. elysha was sure she'd be sleeping outside more than in the room. grabbing her bow and quiver full of arrows elysha backed herself out of the room and shut the door. being inside would get annoying fast. trotting down through the hallways she listened to the sound of her hooves hitting against the floor and echoing off of the walls. she wondered if there was a shooting range here where she could use her bow.

"I might go, if I find a friend to go with. They probably have food there, and I think I want that. They usually have really delicious stuff." Ashley admitted, frosting another wall over. She wasn't lying. If she could find someone to go with, she would totally go. And she did actually want the food. That wasn't a lie, either. "I totally get not going, though. It'll probably be torture if I don't get someone to go with. I'm really surprised that I want to go on the first place." Ashley sighed.

She peered into her neatly packed bag, running a hand over her cotton black shirts. She grabbed the folded end of her shirts, putting them into a brown short dresser. She sat at the end of the bed, facing the door. She also thought about if anyone was going to bunk with her.

Miles continued to inch forward towards her, hearing her words coming off of her. The energy that flowed off of her was unbelievable, although her words made him feel even more special.
