"I would've been really impressed if you did." Lola responded, his tail swishing in the water to keep herself afloat. "A hundred? Oh, that sounds a bit easier. I don't know what genre I like. Well, I don't know what a genre is. Uh, do you have anything with animals?" She decided to ask, curiosity in her blue eyes. She loved animals, especially animals that lived in her domain. Silently, she wondered if he had any movies about mermaids. On the other hand, she was not sure if she wanted to ask. The facts about mermaids could be completely wrong.

Once he was off work, Thomas approached the dock to meet up with Larkai. When she came into view, he lifted a hand in greeting. The male sat down on the bench beside her, shifting slightly to look over at her. "Hey, did you decide what you wanted to do?" He inquired, lifting one of his eyebrows. Honestly, he did not mind what they did. Though, they did not have much of an option on this island.

Daniel heard the faint sound of splashing, and he turned his gaze to the dark area. Was it a fish or one of his own kind? He male crouched down, wanting to find the source of the noise. He had the gut feeling that it was one of his kind, but he wanted to make sure before he said anything stupid. "Is anyone there?" He called out, eyes scanning the shore's edge.

Larkai smiled at him and waved a hello. She shrugged and fidgettd shyly. "W-Well, I was thinking about this n-new skating rink, M-Medina Roll, and I w-wanted to know i-if you w-wanted to check it out" she said softly. She looked at him with her shimmering crystal eyes and blushed.

"The genre's just what type of movie it is, like horror or fiction," Jason replied simply with a shrug. He thought about her question, trying to recall if he did in fact have anything with animals. His dad had some documentary about whales, but it was mostly about the horrors of when people hunted them, so decided against bringing that up. "I'm sure I could find something with animals," he answered, sure there had to be at least a few of them on Netflix. Jay glanced at his watch before back to Lola. "It's getting pretty late, perhaps we could watch one together tomorrow or something?"

One looked at he r coldly as she swam away, he had an odd feeling in his chest when she was awkwardly swimming away.

Lola nodded, a smile on her face. She was excited to watch a movie, especially with her new human friend. He had explained what a genre was to her, but she did not know all the genres. Horror seemed like something that she would not like. She did not want to watch something that scared her. The mermaid was confused about why someone would want to watch something scary. She snapped out of her thoughts when he spoke up. "Sure, I would love to. Thank you for tonight." She added, removing her arms from the wooden dock.

He responded, agreeing to the idea of roller skating. He could not roller skate, but he would go alone with the decision. He stood up, casting a glance over to the beautiful blue ocean.
