Miles rubs his neck. "Darn. I hope Mei gets back soon. Knowing her she'll bring a feast." He smiles sheepishly.

Niami smiles and yawns, "well I hope she comes soon I haven't had breakfast or lunch"

Ivy was sill giggling slightly. When she was calm enough to say something she said, "Well she probably had a more successful day than we did, but I bet ours was more eventful. I don't know how she could manage to have a more interesting day than us, imagine what she'd have to catch for that story."

Miles

"Well, we've caught some pretty crazy things, not just food." Miles says proudly. "We caught a farce drake once; it's like a tiny dragon with big sharp teeth the size of my forearm." He grins. "It almost took my arm off, actually." He says with, surprisingly, even more pride. "Still have the scar."

Niami only heard the part about tiny dragon, "That sounds cute I want one, a tiny pet dragon and I'd name him Steve" she said with a small smile

Ivy looked at him incredulously. "First, how did you manage to catch a small dragon, and second, why are you proud that it almost took your arm off?" she asked, shaking her head.

Miles

Miles looks back at Ivy, confused. "I told you, we're hunters. It's our job to subdue targets small armies can't take on." He shrugs like it's nothing. "Battle scars are reminders, they're a trophy. I took something that should have killed me and I won." He smiles, like the idea is the completion of his life. "Mei and I have lots of stories like that. Telling them is a great way to pass the time."

Niami looks at him with curiosity, "have you hunted anything else that is tiny and cute?"

"I'll keep that I mind. But you didn't answer my first question. How the heck did you manage to catch a small dragon? And what do you mean you do things that small armies can't do? How is that even possible?" asked Ivy, thoroughly confused at this point.

"We catch people, usually, but we hunt animals too." He shrugs in reply to Niami before turning back to Ivy. "They live in caves. I set up a trap by the entrance and Mei and I subdued and caught it while it was trapped." He acts like it's the simplest thing in the world. "Our parents were bounty hunters, best in the galaxy, it must run in the blood."
