"Awww... That was our food supply for the next few days..." Jay sighed.
"Hey- What ever happened to Night? She's been away for a loooong time."

"I hope she didn't get captured or anything bad happening to her," Evette frowned.

"That would be bad... She's been so nice to us. Even to you!" He gestured dramatically at Ramen girl.

He stopped, seeing Finnegan off in the distance
And the sight of another being made him give a small smile, as he strutted towards him happily
He made no other sound, besides the soft crunch of twigs and leaves under his black boots
And each bird went silent as he passed each and every tree

"If that is laced with friggin' poison, then we need more food. I'm not a hunter, Night is the hunter, so i'll go into the city... Just give me like... 2 hours..." Jay told Feather and Ramengirl.
And off he went to the city.

He turned his head slightly, someone else was coming
And this someone was coming very very close to him
A smile came onto his lips as he turned away from coming after Finnegan, and turned to head back into the city just to try and see who it was

As he was walking out of his store, food in the backpack he had taken from ramen girl, a feeling of dread came over him. Someone was here. He felt nauseous. He ducked his head and walked faster away. He decided to check up on his apartment to see what had been done with it, so he walked in the direction of his apartment. He just wanted to shake the feeling of dread and not lead someone to the cave.

He saw the figure in the distance, heading through the wasteland streets
And just as curious as he was, decided to jog after him
His boots tapped against the concrete as he ran, and his lab coat fluttered in the wind
His hands were clenched, shaking slightly to eagerly meet this new being
