I accepted the pillow from her. "Is here okay?" I motioned towards to ground under a large tree, where there were already plenty of leaves around. "If we gather up the leaves it shouldn't be too uncomfortable."

I realized my heart was racing. "Um, no I don't dye my hair. It's just like that. I think for many sirens their hair matches their tail, but some have brown or blonde hair with a colored tail." I tried to think of something else to say but all I could think about was how...well...attractive Sam looked. This is embarrassing... I shifted uncomfortably under his gaze.

"that's fine with me" she smiled "and maybe in the morning we can look for other people, I know a siren recently got legs too" she pulled up some leaves and layed down (can we skip to day?)

"i like it." Sam said with a blush he hoped the glow of the fire hid. "it's pretty and different from what i normally see." he felt quite awkward now and as he noticed just how pretty she was. he had always thought so from the beginning but now in a sort of different way. she was pretty on the outside, but also pretty on the inside with her kindness. he realized he had been staring quickly turned his attention back to the fish. "i think they're done now." he said as he pulled them out of the fire. the scaley skin had already started to come off from the heat so it looked like they were ready to be eaten. "want to try some?" he asked as he offered her one.

Sapphire watched for a while in awe at the glowing flames. she had never seen anything like it before. eventually she realized that the palace guards and Athenos would start worriedly looking for her if she was out too late, so with a flick of her tail she dove underwater once more and swam home.

She shivered, "burrrr, is it always this cold on land?" She asked

"Sure!" I accepted it and switched the still hot fish between hands as I removed some of the skin. I took a hesitant bite and my eyes widened in surprise. "That's really good. It's too bad I haven't had cooked fish before." I smiled over at Sam. "I suppose this is just normal for you though."

Raven | Human | 19

"More or less. You could try piling more leaves on top of you." I suggested and did the same. "If I had a coat I would let you use it, but I'm afraid that was lost in the shipwreck." I sighed as the last light faded from the sky.

I am swimming in the water, every now and again I will check my little blue orb

Zaikeil finally put her skin back and went back into the water. If she was tired, she could always sleep like she always does when she's in water, underwater but with her nose just above the water.

Kane quickly pulled both fish out of the fire and put them on some of the wood he had gathered. He took one of the fishes and started to eat it. There was nothing left to do but to finish eating and try to get some sleep.

"Good idea" she piled some leaves on top of her and went to sleep

Sam smiled as she said she liked it. "yeah, it it pretty good, even if it is normal for me." once he had eaten his fish he gave a yawn and a stretch. seeing that it was getting late and he was warm with a full belly he was ready to go to sleep. "i'm going to go to bed." he said as he stood up. "so i guess i'll see you in the morning?"

I nodded and stood up as well. "Goodnight." It didn't take me long to fall asleep that night.
