Emma grinned. "Okay, sweet. Lead the way." Her gaze flickered over Pipers features and her smile fell a bit, trying to read her expression. Obviously the girl was still unsure about here, but Emma was still unsure about her as well. She couldn't help but wonder if the stuttering girl before her was only acting, trying to get her to let her guard down so she could attack with a better chance for success. She knew she was taking a chance on this girl, but she hadn't seen another living being since she'd escaped the compound when they first landed. She was lonely, but she also knew that just being seen was dangerous enough.

She was disgusted by the entire scene. It almost hurt her that Joel had hardly even looked at her while he was there.... And he had kissed Faye. Her heart felt broken as she watched the two. Tyler wasn't the best person....
He was one heck of a bastard. But Maggie realized that's how Azusa liked
Him....
And that's how he would stay. Maggie was now in the opposite corner watching them silently as her eyes were unconsciously heavy with sadness

He was a bit disappointed when Tyler let go... But it had felt soooo nice to hear him say that. Even if it sounded hollow like it did, it still made the scientist feel warm and fuzzy. Azusa smiled fondly at the figure on the cot, and settled into his little corner. His gaze flitted over to Maggie, then, and he gave her a somewhat sheepish look. He had just... In front of her... She probably though he was mentally sick now.
Which was true when it came to Faye.

She smiled in a fake manner before looking away from him and frowning again. "You're both insane.." she murmured mostly to herself. She rubbed her neck. She had completely forgot about the cute Tyler had given her. She looked at the blood that was smeared on her hand win a bored way, wiping it onto her heavy, blood soaked hoodie. Then something hit her. Azusa had the key... She looked up with concerned eyes, not wanting Tyler to know about all of this. "Azusa... come here" she ordered in an urgent manner

The scientist had a far-off, dreamy look on his face as he sat curled in the corner. Maggie's voice shook him out of the daze, and he watched her questioningly. Why...? With a furtive glance at Tyler, who hadn't moved a inch, Azusa complied. He stood, lurching forward as he did so, looking much like a drunk. But he managed to make his way over to Maggie, where he kneeled in front of her.
"Eh..? What's..." The man trailed off, just deciding to let her explain on her own.

She held out her hand in an urgent way. "Azusa" she whispered "I need the key back..." Her voice trailed off expectantly. Maggie realized the horrible mistake she had made and she did her best to keep her voice low so Tyler couldn't hear. Her hand was vibrating with fear of what Azusa would do.... And something inside of her wished she hadn't even brought up the key.

Piper nodded but didn't move. For a brief moment she had forgotten exactly where she was going. She stood there shaking, feeling like a failure before remembering her map. She shakily reached into her backpack pocket and pulled out the large map, drawn in ways only the red head could understand. Finally she began to take a step forward but, unfortunately tripped over herself, finding herself falling straight towards the river.

Tyler stayed quiet. Listening to everything they said. It wasn't easy, what with Maggie keeping her voice low. But he could hear the evident fear lacing her tone, and that was a sound he never missed. So she wanted the key? Was she leaving... Maybe he should leave too, he's been in this hell hole longer enough. But he vowed that the day he broke out was the day all of these whitecoats died. In his state, he'd probably only kill, like what, 20 before passing out? Yea, not acceptable. But still. It was a chance. The question was, will he take it?

London smiled, blushing a bit. "Look at you. So poetic." He purred, giving a kick pat on the head to him before watching him bite the sandwich. His smile turned into a slight smirk as he leaned forward and captured Chess's lips in a kiss. He held it there for a good minute before pulling back and touching their foreheads together. "You're absolutely right. Your lips taste much better." He said before going in to kiss him again.

"Eh? The key?" The scientist said aloud, utterly oblivious to how fearful she seemed. Why was she being so quiet? At times, Azusa could be quite the airhead... After a brief hesitation, and feeling around for the key, he held out the thin, silver card toward her loosely between two fingers.
But then the thought occurred... If she left... He'd be stuck with Tyler. Alone. That thought both excited and terrified him... To the extent that the key slipped from his fingers, and hit the ground with a soft clatter.

She grabbed the key quickly before looking at Tyler. Thanks Azusa for your clumsiness. "I don't plan on leaving" she murmured almost silently. "I just don't want.... Him....
To get it.." She had no clue Tyler was listening but she still did her best to hide her voice
