Adriana stood with her arms crossed across her chest impressively, her sharp gaze grazing the police cars as they each pulled over to the side of the street. At this point her wings were tucked in comfortably on her back and her posture was straight- the only thing that didn’t radiate her usual energy was the fact that she had just come from a morning class and instead of her usual hero getup, the mighty Thunderbird was clad in a sports jacket, baseball cap, and slightly ripped denim jeans. She had completely lost track of what day it was.

Her weight was shifted from foot to foot in anticipation. Though successful heros thus far, the young avian and her super powered teammates didn’t exactly have expectations of how the baddies would react. With powers of their own surely they could be formidable, and if they didn’t take the program seriously then perhaps it would be a waste. With this thought in mind, Adriana decided to glance at the others in her line to try and read their expressions.

When she heard a familiar robotic voice, the girl stretched her neck to look up and grin at the little metallic ball. SIF’s words, however, were met with a small shrug- Adriana would glance over the file eventually, and it wasn’t as if it would take very long. Years of cramming gave that skill to her. She did appreciate the work the AI+ had done though. For now, however, Thunderbird would stick with whatever “first meeting” the program implied for them.

Andre nearly snarled as someone pulled him roughly out of what he guessed was a police car. He couldn’t be completely sure of anything at that point, since his eyesight had been tightly blocked with a thickened-fibre blindfold. Sure that would limit his abilities enough that he couldn’t escape at that moment, but they would have to take it off eventually. Then again, if he messed up this opportunity he might as well had just chosen the option of getting locked up.

The late teen trailed behind the officers that were tugging at his cuffed hands for him to follow, the expectation that he would be brought inside set in his mind. Surely then, he had some time to play around with his captors? Andre gave an amused sniff and pretended to look around, falsifying the effects of the blindfold. “Hm, I haven’t been around this area in a while-“ he commented calmly before grunting when he was shoved into a line and the blindfold was pulled off. The “joke” clearly hadn’t tricked anyone and just as the Acrobat opened his eyes, he realised that he had said that in front of everyone. It wasn’t exactly embarrassing, per say, but he did feel a little hot after seeing he was the only one who had needed a blindfold. Then again, that might still be able to play to his advantage, especially if the others thought his abilities were something different from what they actually were.

Korin was being put in the villain reformation program. The Police car pulled up in front of, he assumed, multiple heroes and villains. The Police men grabbed Korin's wheelchair and heaved him into it. There were two police men on either side of him that were handcuffed to him. Each to one hand. Then, there was a police woman pushing his wheelchair. He eyed all of the heroes and villains that were beside him. One of the assumed villains next to him tried to break away from the police officer that was guarding her. He looked back to the heroes, studying them. There were quite a few there. He actually didn't know who any of them were. He never kept updated about those things. This included the villains too. The only reason he knew they were heroes was because of their ridiculous outfits, but then again, there was a winged girl that wasn't in any sort of costume. But, she had wings so Korin just made an assumption. Korin relaxed back into his wheelchair. He was curious to see what was going to happen, so he decided to stick around and see how this little meeting would pan out.

Viridian orbs scanned the view, or more specifically, the people, behind the window. Steps light and airy, as if she was floating, she stalked to her objects of observation. Eyes resting upon a certain redhead, she halted a distance away from the small crowd. When SIF's announcement reached her, she smiled - barely qualifiable as a quirk of the lips with most but for her, she was almost grinning - at the nearest camera in silent thanks.

Sugar's arms tugged against her restraints with the urge to swing back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and...

What was she thinking about again? An abrupt giggle burst out, the guards surrounding her failing spectacularly at hiding their flinches even though she was tied up and blindfolded, her powers bound while they were fully armed with some inconsequential hero accompanying them.

Right! This quaint little rehabilitation program of those adorable little heroes. Surprising that they've chosen Sugar for it though, she was hardly the most manageable. Perhaps they're looking to use her as an example and verification of their goodness and superiority?

Humming to herself, the sound sweetly eerie, Sugar wondered exactly how they're planning on rehabilitating her of all people. It's more probable that the so-called 'Assassin' would stop being such an uptight pig. A pretty, uptight pig, but still an uptight pig. Or the little Acrobat and Spade actually taking full advantage of their capabilities. So much potential, wasted! Sugar's appalled.

laurel watched the others get pulled out smiling at each and every one of them. she glanced at the blindfolded boy next to her and then at the girl and laughed. ”jeez they must be really bad if they need blindfolds.” she looked at the officer behind her once more and pretended to bite him, he flinched a little which caused her to laugh even more. ”hmm, this is going to be so fun.” she sighed.

damien listened to what sif said grateful for the androids help. he recognized spade amongst the crew of villains, he had a slight run in with her once. ”i feel bad for whoever has her.” he muttered underneath his breath. that’s when he decided to go over the email, reading the name, sugar. he quickly identified her as the crazy one who looked like she was gonna explode if she didn’t get out of the restraints. perfect.

Korin looked at the girl that tried to get away earlier. Was she trying to bite the guard? Who the heck are these people. Then he glanced at the clearly giggly insane girl. 'These people look more like they belong in a mental hospital. Why did they choose them for what ever this is?' he wondered. But, to be fair, he didn't know why he was there either.

He waited in the line of heroes, watching as police cars and vans pulled up, and officers had to forcefully drag the villains that were to be reformed up and line them up opposite. He was a little nervous. From the looks of things, most of the villains seemed to be resisting or attempting to fight back in one way or another. Aurelio had thought that the villains had wanted to be reformed. He personally hoped that he didn't get paired with anyone too violent, or someone like that girl who'd attempted to bite an officer.
Hr glanced towards SIF when she spoke, even though he didn't reslly need to, and nodded slightly. From what he'd read, Korin Fendlia seemed to have just been a misguided kid who didn't know what else he could have done in life. But he wasn't going to consider this an easy task, of course.
Aurelio smiled warmly, if a little shyly as well, towards the line up of villains, wanting to be welcoming.

He kept his gaze to the floor as he sat in the back of a police van, just thinking over what could have been done differently - what should have been done differently. Now here he was, bundled up with a few other villains that he honestly only vaguely recognised, waiting to be pulled out like the others had been. This was worse than being arrested... but then again, perhaps they figured that a cell just wouldn't hold him for long.
Rhydian scowled as the police officers pulled him from the police van, his enhanced strength requiring a couple more officers to escort him to the line that was forming opposite heroes that he bitterly recognised. He didn't resist as such, but he did keep a scowl on his expression, and decided that once he had the opportunity, then he was going to try and make his escape.

Beautiful, wonderful fresh air.

Her feeling of others' emotions are extremely dimmed, which also quietens the other voices inside her head and clears her mind a bit, enough to recognize that she was finally outside after days, possibly weeks, of being in yet another high security psyche ward in solitary confinement. She can't quite tell if she hates these moments or longs for them, for they are so tempting but always slip through her fingers at the very last seconds. Sure enough, the oppressing, frantic noise and impressions are creeping back.

Lashes fluttering, eyes adjusting to the blinding sun, Sugar tipped her head back as if drunk on being out and about, even if her arms were still bound together. However, her jailers did not have the courtesy to let a poor girl's eyes adjust to the natural lighting after what was possibly weeks spent under fluorescent lights and the last few hours spent in an armored truck and rather harshly nudged her towards the awaiting villains. Sugar bared her teeth at them in a mockery of a smile. Her voice was sweet and kind when she spoke.

"Would you like to keep those fingers of yours darlings?"

With any skin-to-skin contact, Hadley is able to access and manipulate the balance of dopamine and dopamine receptors. The applications include, but are not limited to; forcefully producing more dopamine manually (in others), destroying receptors, siphoning dopamine, and sustaining its presence in someone for prolonged amounts of time. In essence, this power allows her to control the core mechanism of human learning and conditioning through physical contact alone. While this power may seem a bit on the more “passive” side, the extent of her abilities can be devastating to a person’s mental health.

A prominent example of this is shown through one of the officer’s that attempted to incapacitate Hadley for her arrest. The moment he made skin-to-skin contact with her, he was sent into a euphoric frenzy that not only rendered him unconscious; it also left him depressed. In only a few seconds, the population of receptors in his neural tissue had been reduced to a number comparable to those suffering from mild clinical depression.

On the other hand, her abilities are an extraordinary breakthrough in psychology and psychiatry. It may be possible, with enough persuasion, these abilities could be used for the benefit of society and the general populous.

Her body as adapted to the overflow of dopamine she constantly experiences, partially explaining her risky behavior and cruel disposition spawned from a morbid disregard for life. Though, the more terrifying prospect is how this power is continuously driving her off the edge, destroying most traces of “feel-good” moments and leading her to seek out increasingly dangerous things to sate her needs. While her ability hasn’t completely wrecked her mentally (yet), it has driven her to turn to sadism, particularly murder and fear mongering. Her crimes range from straight-up terrorism to a couple assisted kidnappings and two murders.

In the result of numerous incidents regarding these effects and several victims, mandatory safety precautions of have been taken (until the program is complete). She is to keep a majority of her skin out of reach at all times through the means of gloves and garments. To ensure she doesn’t try anything, her hands are equipped with a pair of specially made gloves that cannot be removed by her via a small metal ring fused to her flesh. She is also to be monitored for the sake of safety.

All in all, don’t touch her.
