Aerona sat upon a wooden seat, right inside of the throne room. Guests were only allowed to enter to interact with the Royal members of the family and request things.
The red wine in her cup singed upon her tongue, dancing exotically on her taste buds. Aerona’s navy colored eyes traveled down at the drink, watching as the maroon and violet liquid swished around. Flashbacks played throughout her mind, and the familiar cry of her youngest twin brother haunted her. His sickly pale hand clutched her own, as tears threatened to spill down the girl’s cheeks.
“Aerona... I’m going to die, just as our dearest eldest brother did. That leaves you in charge with the throne, and you hold many responsibilities ahead of you. You’re only fifteen, but I do believe you can take charge. May God allow us to meet again once I’m reborn, Rona, I love you...”
Those words gravely rang throughout her mind almost daily. She got rid of everything that reminded her of the past, but it still managed to dig it's way trough her head.
Her palm slammed into the wooden table, the wine lightly shaking at the sudden force. Members inside the throne room all turned at the reaction, eyes wide as well as mouths.
“No! I don’t want this!” Her husky, yet clear voice ricocheted off the castle’s walls. Her body shook with anticipation, for she could barely even move.
Once she gathered up the courage to get up, she dashed off to find her son and daughter.

The lonesome knight, or would the lone wolf fit him better? He honestly did not know himself. He was polite and sociable when necessary, but he did like the silence that surrounded him sometimes. Levi couldn’t stop pondering about his own personality as he traveled throughout the forest near Montohelm city.
It was 6:30 pm in Montohelm, yet the clouds that hung in the sky had a sunny hue to them. The baby blue color made Levi smile a bit. That was until a dull knife was held against his neck, threatening to take away his own life.
Leviathan himself was unconscious for a few minutes. He realized the knife was still up against his neck and somebody managed to hold his arms tightly together.
A band of thieves, perhaps? No, it had to be bandits. Thieves wouldn’t threaten a life.
“’Ey, aren’tcha a handsome knight? Wouldn’t it be a shame if you disappeared, eh?” The lead bandit, who wore an iron helmet, cackled.
This is going to be one long evening... I either need to find a way to escape, or wait for someone to show up and help me. Leviathan thought to himself, finding the option to do it himself to be somewhat easier.
As he kept his eyes shut, there was a loud roar in the distance. This was going to be one long night.

Nightshade bolted in an area unknown to her, not sure where to go. She didn’t memorize this place, but a part of her thought it was familiar. She was getting chased by not one but two factions. A pack of wolves and some angry guardsmen who she stole from.
“Come out here, you dirty little thief! You’ll pay for stealing from us!” A voice echoed throughout the seemingly dark area.
When Nightshade turned her head, she didn’t release the incoming slope ahead. She tumbled down the sharp, rocky slope, her body hurling in various directions. The thief cried out in pain, tears welling up in her emerald orbs.
She laid on the mossy floor, staring up at the sky as she panted heavily, then screeched on the top of her lungs. Nightshade desperately needed help, for she hurt the back of her neck and broke her leg, possibly a broken rib as well.
Even if those wolves or guardsmen found her, at least she would either die or get some sort of form of medical attention. It’s better than lying in pain, slowly dying as the minutes and hours pass by.
“Please... Someone help me, I need help.” Her lips trembled in fear as she jerked her body a bit. She needed someone to lean her body on, then get healed. Perhaps she could die, but she needed to keep struggling in order to survive.

The Princess Kaia
Kaia studied herself with narrowed eyes. She sighed in annoyance as she noticed a slight smudge on her full, wall length mirror. "I told her to be careful," Kaia muttered, head held high as she contemplated firing the careless maid.
The princess' long, dark blonde hair was perfectly curled, framing her aristocratic face. Her deep blue eyes, similar to her mother's, were narrowed, as usual. Even with the frown twisting her lips, and the proud raise of her head, Kaia de Lumiere was exceptionally beautiful. She could never keep track of the number of lowly peasants boys that had tried to approach her, only to be driven back by cutting words or the guards that always accompanied her on any visit out of the castle. She didn't understand how her mother could stand it: they were peasants, after all!
As if summoned by her thoughts, the queen swept into Kaia's room. Kaia turned to face her, arms folded in a what-do-you-want gesture. "If this is another plead for me to interact with the common folk, just leave already," she said bluntly. "Actually, if you want me to do anything that I wouldn't want to, leave."Damian Brent, the Viper
Damian quietly walked through the thin trees, spotting the edge a little ways ahead. The rocky path crunched beneath his feet as he sighed, a wry smile appearing as he once again questioned his decision to explore the outer most parts of The Black Hollow. There hadn't been a mission for him for a few months now, creating a feeling of restlessness in the usually active assassin. He hadn't really thought it through before announcing that he was going to scout around the place he had called home since he was 8. Now, however, he was regretting it.
The Black Hollow was never quiet. With so many people, most of whom knew most everybody else, there was always something going on. However, as most of its people lived in the center of the old city--the most developed part--venturing to the edges meant that you were on your own in a place that criminals loved.
Damian suddenly froze, his trained ears hearing the telltale thuds of boots. He frowned in confusion as the howls of wolves joined in not a moment later. "Wolves and guards?" the assassin murmured softly. Guards? he thought, almost unconsciously creeping towards them. What are they- A high-pitched screech broke through his thoughts, causing Damian to freeze for a moment before running--doubly careful now to be silent--towards it. He stopped at the top of a hill, quickly glancing behind him before scrambling down. "Nightshade?" He spoke softly, shocked but aware of the guards and wolves heading towards them. The girl sprawled on the ground was a thief he had seen around The Black Hollow often enough. They had exchanged words, but weren't the best of friends. "What were you thinking?" he murmured, crouching down beside her. "Come on. We need to get away from here." Damian offered her a hand, a quick inspection telling him that she would need help.(Yay!! We're starting!!!)
