Sapphire swam a bit quickly through the ocean water. there had been another storm last night and the princess had gotten away from the palace to see if she could spot any humans on the shore. she reached her favorite spying spot on a large rock that concealed her but also was comfortable to sit on and had a perfect view of the beach. she though she spotted some movement and held her breath in excitement.

Sam coughed up saltwater and sand. he felt like he had taken a huge beating. his clothes were torn and soaked, his eyes burned and watered, and he felt many buises and cuts scattered across his body from the rocks. where was he? what happened to the others. he rolled sorely onto his back to try and focus his eyesight.

Skye ducked behind a rock as the human she was watching coughed and moved. The young man (Sam) had just washed up and look to be in pretty bad condition. She looked out from behind the rock and watched him. It may seem stalker-ish to you, but humans were fascinating to Skye. "Ouch. That looks pretty bad." She murmured sympathetically. "Lots of cuts...wonder if he's friendly."

Aria sighed and felt a sharp pain up her leg, she knew it as the warning sign of a tail. She sat down and held her head, massaging the temples before standing up again with a push off a tree trunk. She loved legs, she felt the wind through the small hairs on them, she could run with them and climb. She loved climbing. Her eyes darted around, she hadn't seen the rest of the sirens in awhile. Her and the other sirens didn't get along well, though then again she didn't get along with anyone really. A few pitied her, a look in there eyes that made her sick. She didn't want their pity, she hated pity, looking at her like she was some weak little girl "pfft" She was independent and living alone for years, she liked remembering that she was strong. She walked toward the shore and looked around. Her orange hair was wiped around by the wind as her eyes hunted for a form of life.

Sapphire watched the human stand up groggily and look around. they are always confused like this when they first wash up. she felt a bit bad for them, knowing what had to have happened before for them to have ended up here, and that they must have had a life before that they can never go back to.

Sam used his remaining strength to stand. he wobbled a bit, still feeling like he was being thrown by the ocean. he squinted his eyes at the island in front of him. just a few feet ahead of him was a thick jungle-like forest. everything else that he could see was sand, ocean, or sky. where am i? he thought as he tried to recall where they had been before the storm took over.

I watched as the human staggered upright. "Hey!" She called, just loud enough for him to hear. Every opportunity she got to learn about humans, especially from other humans, she took. This could be the best opportunity. He was weak and couldn't resist, and as a last-ditch effort Skye could always sing and lure him towards her until he reached the edge of the shoreline...she slipped out from behind the rock and swam until she the water was only four feet deep.
