Nylie frowned. "Return home? No. I am not returning to my home."

A slight smile crept across Tai'vils face. He quickly turned down a dead end alley. The alley was too dark for him to be seen even with his white hair, and he hid in a shallow crevice between two buildings that pressed against each other.

"If I may ask why, and what is your name?"She said curiosuly "Your welcome to stay with me?"

"I am Nylie Kulim, eldest daughter of the Kulim noble house and bethrothed to our kings fourth son." Nylie responded as if she was a well versed diplomat. "My reson for not returning home is my own until I know who you are."

The man turned down an alleyway, causing Keyleth to stop yet again. On one hand, he might have been leading her into a trap. On the other, she still knew nothing about who he was or where he came from. In the end, curiosity won out, and she pulled an arrow from the quiver at her back and slowly crept into the alleyway. She couldn't see him, but her sense of smell, honed by years of life in the forest, picked up his scent. He was around here somewhere, she was sure of it. She just couldn't say where.

"Very well, my name is Wolf."she replied gently putting her sword back into the safety of her belt.

Tai'vil waited for the moment the stranger would pass his hiding spot. He strained his ears to hear even the softest muffle of sound. His hand was wrapped tightly around the shaft of his scythe, yet he had no intention to actually use it unless he needed to.

"Wolf? That gives credit to only further the theory your people are the Alenthi's pets." Nylie mumbled.

she growled slightly "Yes it was a alenthi that named me but I was not her pet par lors are their own kindom in itself."

"So I've heard." Nyie replied dryly. "It doesn't stop your people from following the orders of the Alenthi though."

Keyleth stopped in front of a small recess between two buildings, stooping low and casting her head about like a dog on the trail of a Fox. The man's scent was strongest here, but she still couldn't see him. Slowly, she brought her arrow up in front of her, holding it like a dagger.

"we are not pets some of us act like pets and like me being named after a pack animal has taken its toll and yes I admit I do act like pets to some people I even had a collar once for a week before I ran off."
