(TIME TO STARRRRRT!)
18th of December, heavy snow, six in the morning.
Such a cold morning again made the oldest of the five clans not even want to open his eyes. It seemed as if the cold wind went right through that single small opening of his window and then through Tetsu's body. He turned his back towards the moving curtains and wrapped himself up in his blanket once more before realising that this was complete nonsense. With a sigh, he threw the blanket onto the ground and stood up. The window had opened further and there was a letter on his desk. 'Asagi...' He muttered, 'at least close the damned window next time...' He then didn't even bother to read the letter, instead threw it in the bin and went on to getting dressed.
After merely ten minutes, he was fully decent and grabbed a pen, ink and a some sheets of paper, then went down stairs to the main living room where he put those materials on the table and went into the kitchen to find the tea that his son had already made. He took his cup and went to the table again.
He sat down on a chair and wrapped the scarf he had around his neck some more and closed the top button of his collar. 'Who messed with the temperature?' He grumbled to himself and with he gazed towards the huge windows. 'Such heavy snow today... I'm not going anywhere...' He shook his head, took a sip of his tea and started writing on the sheet of paper/
Of course, no weather had ever stopped Yu~Ki from getting out of bed and being productive. First thing after getting dressed was putting the kettle on. He knew that his father would son be downstairs as well, early as his family was, so he made a cup of tea for the both of them before putting on a coat and walking outside, into the thick snow.
Out on the veranda, he sat down. glad that the balcony above him made the chairs snow-free. He watched the storm rage as he sipped his tea and listened to the unusual sounds of the crying wind. It was cold, but it was beautiful as well. He hoped that the storm would pass soon so that he could have a nice walk in the snow... Maybe with someone else... He thought about a nice and relaxed walk at first, then he thought how it might be good for some of the younger people to have this nice walk as well, to get them at ease. And the kids could play, too... He sighed, but the sound was carried away by the wind.
Daisuke had always stood up early and today was no exception. He got dressed in black military pants, a black shirt and put on snow boots before grabbing his gun from the wall and walking down the stair. 'Morning, old man!' He said to Tetsu, who, without looking, said, 'you better put on a coat, besides, I bet there's nothing to shoot at right now. There's a storm passing by.' 'I'm not going outside,' Daisuke said, 'well, I was planning to but not anymore. It sure is heavy weather... Is that Yu~Ki outside?' 'He's a biologist. He doesn't care about the weather,' Tetsu said and Daisuke said, 'your whole family is a bunch of creepy guys, old man. And your clan too.' Then he went up the stairs again, to the shooting room of the Von Diru clan.
Without aiming, he shot dead center into a target. 'Man, this is too easy...' He sighed and went to stand with his back against the wall. 'I could do this with my eyes closed...'
Even though the castle of the D clan was far away from the house of the five clans, it was the same weather. Asagi sat on this throne-like chair in the middle of the room with the carpet towards it and the banner of the clan behind him. He looked at the huge Victorian windows with a sigh. 'I thought Siberia was bad...' He had a whip with a black rope attached to it in his hand and let it sweep across the floor playfully. His cat son rushed to it and tried to grab it. Only this tiny white monster could keep Asagi busy for hours. The man smiled softly, though his red eyes shined with an emotion unknown to normal humans.
He lifted the whip so that the cat had to jump and he grabbed her out of the air and took her on his lap. 'Where are the others, Tsune?' He asked the cat, 'still asleep? They've become too much like humans. We adjust ourselves to much, don't we... Sleep in the evening, go to meetings during day... All to keep our secret hidden. Why can't the old man just tell those little kids that monsters are real?' The cat purred under Asagi's soft touches. 'As if you would know...' Asagi said. 'I hope the snow won't cause problems for my meeting...'
(I'm only posting for four chars now, because the other's aren't awake XD)
