I gave her a hesitant smile. "That isn't a tail." I realized she was in pain. "Here let me help you." I picked her up and carried her up onto the beach and set her down. "Are you okay?"

Kane walked closer and sat down. He didn't noticed the girl from before inching her way towards him.

"Do I have...legs?!?! I...I" she sputtered "I guess a got a little blood in my mouth when I licked my hand like I do wen eating fish"

I ran my fingers through my hair absentmindedly. "So...how long does this last exactly?" I motioned towards her legs.

"Um" *couints on fingers* "3 days" she answered

"oh..." Sam replied quietly. "i'm sorry to hear that. i'm glad you didn't run when we met or anything though. otherwise we wouldn't have become friends." he said.

Sapphire ran her fingers through his hair curiously as she sang. she had never been this close to a human before and it was fascinating. she reached down to the seal skin he was still holding and slowly started pulling it out of his fingers.

I shrugged. "It's okay. I don't remember much about her." I smiled at him. "I'm glad we're friends. It's wonderful to talk to someone other than myself." I laughed . "Or any sea creatures swimming by."

Zaikeil watched as her sealskin was slowly pulled away from the human. It was hard for her not to move suddenly and take it. She didn't want anything to go wrong, incase he was one that would do harm

" I can try too" she stood up and started to walk around, she was wobbly but sooner gained her balance

"i'm glad too." Sam replied with a smile. "it would be pretty lonely here without you." he slightly blushed just a little as he said that.

Sapphire continued to sing until she had pulled the seal skin away from him. she quickly tossed it to the girl and jumped back into the water before the human could snap out of his spell.
