Emma's grin dimmed a bit when Piper flinched, but she quickly shook it off. "So... what are you doing here? Obviously you're either a civilian or a scientist, so why are you off the compound?" She asked. She ran her fingers through her hair, shaking it loose from it's messy braid.

Piper opened her mouth slowly, carefully trying to piece together words that weren't stupid. "I-I'm collecting. S-Samples for the lab I'm f-from. I'm j-just an adventurer so I always leave..." Piper said, trailing off as she felt like she was about to ramble on like always. She pressed her small pointer fingers together nervously, looking off to the side in fear of eye contact. "W-What are you doing here?.... I-If you want t-to tell me of course! T-Totally don't have to!" She said, the last part coming out more frantic as she hoped to not offend Emma.

Tyler managed to struggle to his feet. He was still glaring at Joel, is mind at conflicting odds as they debated what they should do. That kiss, you have to get another / no the hell I don't. Just spill that bastard's blood on the floor / but you could do that at anytime. / same with the kiss. come on, just a little taste. you know you want some. What was wrong with his mind? Tyler found himself picking up Maggie's knife and approaching Joel from behind. Just as they reached the door, Tyler reached out and forcefully turned Joel around and cut his lip cleanly with the knife. He then captured that blood in the form of a kiss. Kill two birds with one stone. / nice. His mind finally coming together as he let out a sound of bliss at the two flavors.

London finished his sandwich as well but couldn't stop himself from grabbing a second. Good thing they made two for each. He nodded at Chess's response before chewing happily. "Nothing actually. We're free after we check those carrots for poison until Piper returns. So maybe an afternoon full of those cuddles and hugs I promised you." He smiled, booping the other on the nose after another bite.

His eyes widened at the sting of the knife, and even more so at the feel of Tyler's lips. Screw what the director told him... This man was going to pay. Then and there. But why give him the reaction he wanted? Faye expected Joel to try and kill him with everything he had... So the founder made sure to do just the opposite.
Joel reached around and grabbed a fistful of Tyler's hair, pressing the other's lips harder onto his own. Whilst his other hand began to roam... Touching whatever it could manage to... rather roughly. After a short while of this, the man pulled away and straightened himself. He would have gone a bit farther, but the look on Azusa's face could have made the most crazed tyrant's (*cough cough*Joel*Cough Cough*) heart melt, it was so pitiful. The founder sucked on the cut part of his lip for a moment, just watching Faye, and then he quickly exited before said prisoner could retaliate, the cell door closing with a 'bang'.

Emma couldn't help but recoil slightly when Piper admitted to working in a lab, but brushed it off, reasoning that she couldn't be that bad if she was out exploring. "Um, I was just coming to get some water," she said. She pulled out the canteen and took a small swig as proof. "So, which lab do you work in?" Emma asked, fidgeting with the monogram on her satchel.

"L-Lab 2..." She muttered. Piper began to ponder where exactly where this girl be;onged. Mr. London had warned her about bad people. But what made them bad she couldn't remember. Rogues.. bandits? No that wasn't right. Her expressions were changing visibly as she tried to remember exactly what Mr. London had said, looking a little odd to any who didn't understand her mind

Tyler hadn't expected this kind of reaction. Joel was a man of one action and that was rage. But he wasn't going to complain. The hands, the lips, the blood, all of it was sinfully amazing. But it was short lived as he watched the man turn his back and leave. He tried to catch his breath, the kiss leaving him this way. He managed to and wiped his lip, taking in all the blood left there. He was slowly gaining his strength back but he now needed a nap. He turned around and froze at the look Azusa was giving him. It was so pitiful so.. "Azu. Come here." He demanded, his eyes meeting the sad green ones.

He instantly wiped that look off his face. Emotions he showed in front of Tyler had to be carefully thought over... He hadn't thought that expression over very well. Azusa quickly gave a little shake of the head and moved to shrug off his bloody coat. It was probably a bad idea to turn his back to Tyler- in the past, bad things always seemed to happen with Faye when his back was turned- but he did it still, shuffling into a corner of the room to lay out his coat. If he was gonna be stuck here until Joel said it was ok to leave... It'd be best to have his own little spot, right?

Emma cocked an eyebrow at her, sensing the shift of tone in the conversation. She glared up at the sky, trying to remember which lab that was. "Lab 2, that's agriculture, right?" She relaxed a bit, and offered Piper a small smile.

Piper nodded, looking at Emma with a smile. "Right! We try and grow food using the resources from Fec Terra. It's a really great lab with great people!" She said, not stuttering once as she talked about one of the things she loved. She then remembered she wasn't supposed to be acting stupid. "B-But you d-didn't ask I-I guess..." She said, looking down again.

Tyler frowned, watching Azusa walk away from him. Again, this kid had gained too much freedom. But now wasn't the time for lessons. That face... Tyler slowly made his way over to Azusa, crouching down before hugging him from behind. "Azu." He whispered, nuzzling into the other's neck. The knife was still in hand, dripping with blood and resting dangerously close to Azusa's face. But Tyler didn't intend to use it. "Azu... don't be sad." He whined into his neck.

He flinched pretty badly at the contact, but his body instinctively relaxed in Faye's embrace after a moment. Azusa didn't necessarily want to... But it was instilled in him by now. Oh how he wanted to make a remark like he would with Joel... If I'm sad, then you're not a murder. was the first thing that came to mind. But it was a lie of course. The scientist open his mouth to simply say 'No I'm not,'. A soft whimper came out instead. Azusa quickly turned so that he was facing Tyler, and buried his face into the prisoner's chest, like a scared little kid would. "I love Tyler..." He said sadly, voice muffled.

Emma chuckled, cocking her head to the side in amusement. "No, it's great. I'd much rather you be working in agriculture," Emma said. "So what brings you out here, if you're working with plants why are you out here? Shouldn't you be in a greenhouse trying to grow potatoes and carrots or something?" She grinned and looked out over the river, watching the sun sparkle off of the water.
