The Not-So-Deserted Fairground (Open & Accepting!)

Of course, Taurus was getting the dishes started. he is a man of his word.... I guess nobody actually knew that since he and his brother are still somewhat new to the fairgrounds and its people. when he lived among the humans everyone, he knew already knows Taurus as a man of his word, a loyal co-worker, Generous, but also dangerous and a bit short tempered. He had many friends as he did enemies. Some of those enemies will do whatever it takes to kill him. Many attempts have been made. none were successful. mostly because nobody knew he was a shapeshifter.

Thunder and Taurus lived having to hide their powers. Forced to live as if they were human themselves. They grew to adapt to the surroundings of the human ways and learned how to manage most problems without having to use their powers at all. in fact, it was quite rare that Taurus and Thunder ever had to change shape. Only in emergencies.

The only thing Taurus and Thunder feared living here is that someone would find them and hurt everything and everyone they ever cared about or worked to have. mostly why Taurus and Thunder never talked to anyone.

Taurus was incredibly curious as to how Oliver even made those bomb smoothies. Being a shifter, curiosity would always get the best of him. Shifters are also incredibly good at observing and mimicking. (Makes sense... shifters don't have shapes they copy other shapes. that would include behaviors and other things like that. idk. That's logical to me. others might disagree. This is just how I made my shifter bois) Taurus watched Oliver casually noting his every move. His head slowly tilting to the side as he Observed him. When Oliver was done, he quickly looked away and to the dishes, cleaning. -wait... do that again it looked cool- hah yes, he wanted to see that again. He got an idea of how that was done but was not entirely sure of how the crap he did that. He made a personal note to himself that he would try and make his own drink... or try to. but after the dishes.

Taurus scoffed. "Yeah, i guess that comes with taking over your business" he wasn't going to. it was just funny because taking one look at Taurus and you know he a very businessy man. and... he is. business stuff be his greatest strength. He despises paperwork to the core of his sole. but is really good at it. in fact, he had a business of his own. He knows how to run one. "I know how to run a business. and this is a cute little juice bar... how bad could it be?" he said mildly threatening to take over. I mean.... he could if he put in the effort. but he didn't care enough to.
no, he still doesn't know about the gold and glittery words of "fabulous" on his back. but we won't tell him yet.

Thunder: 22 |bi| male (Shapeshifter- (human form) Mind control/Manipulation [location- Flower shop] Tags: Anni, everyone in Juice bar

he nodded to Anni "y-ye-flhm" then growled himself. He hated how he would stutter. The most annoying part was that this only happened when he was Anxious, nervous, or excited. He took a deep breath trying to gather his words. "Sorry- can't sp-speak properly." when he would stutter it was mostly tripping over his S, T, P, R, L, F's, and M's. it's never gotten so bad to the point where he literally couldn't speak. The worst it's ever really gotten too was to the point where it's kind of hard to understand what he is saying but you get the most of it. He had a deep exhale trying to calm himself down a bit so he could think about speaking words again. "Ok. I think I got it." he said, his mouth feeling like jello. "Yeah- let's go. I should probably get back to work anyway." He didn't really want to, but he had to be responsible. -ugh. Being an adult is so lame.- he thought to himself. He turned to see his brother behind the counter who was washing the dishes. "See you later brother!" he waved and turned to head out the door. He held it open for Anni and waited for her to walk through.

Ember loved rodeos. just... was never on a horse before. She loved horses and they were her favorite animal when she was a young one. She still has her briar horse figure collection. BUT ITS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE GATE! sad.

hah yes... i think it would break her XD as tough as she likes to appear.... she goes snap like a twig. but her brother could take on getting yeeted off the back of a horse. she was sure of it.

"Come on old man. ill race ya" she said teasingly. She had so much laughter and happiness in her sole. It was like a wish come true. All these creatures were real. the fairy tales that she was told as a kid. It was like she was living a dream now. and not the little green guy with a smiley mask. She was happy. She hadn't felt happy in a while. She will be living the moment for sure.

She skipped ahead of Caelan. "I bet I could outrun ya" she said playfully. she doubted she could because he got them horse speedy genes. but she still wanted to try.

The black haired, eared, and tailed one flicked their tail a bit. The ears twitched and went back when Liem spoke...Then again, that was actually what they'd wanted. They made a happy little sound as Robin pet them. They lifted their head slightly, leaning into it. They then turned to look at the cafe, and woofed a bit. They saw some human in there, at the counter. He appeared to be talking with Gray, another supernatural.

The redhead with the nose and cheek freckles hummed a bit. The lighter tanned and turquoise eyed one glanced to Malum. She made a small sound, but didn't try and stop the demon. The cute redhead sighed a bit, though, shaking her head. She then glanced to the male, and nodded at him. "I...Its fine; you're fine," she said, trying to reassure him. He began to speak normal again, then walked out and held the door. She smiled and said "Thank you," as she walked out, then waited for him. She then began to head back for the flower shop. As they were walking, she saw the gate was still shut.

Oh, the human had walked off before taking the drink. What a pity. Still, Olivier was not deterred by this - he was determined to not let the drink go to waste. "Well! I guess this drink is up for grabs, then, if anyone would like it!" he said, glancing around at the others. "Perhaps you?" he offered Anwin, noting that they had been rather quiet, and slid it towards them.
Then, he turned towards Malum. "No problem~ and I will try to ignore that part about messing with the humans..." Olivier commented. He seemed quite curious at the mention of the ancient Spanish Dubloons. It was not a typical currency, but he knew most currencies tended to be accepted within the Fairgrounds - even odd ones. "Dubloons sounds reasonable. Two or three, perhaps? I'm not entirely sure of the typical conversion rate though." he suggested.

Olivier turned back towards Taurus. Taking over his dear Juice Bar? Well now. He knew it wasn't going to happen, but still, it seemed like an interesting conversation. "Unless you hire a strong security guard to do it for you~" Olivier said, lightly teasing, to point out how Taurus was washing the dishes for him.
"Regardless, I'll cling onto this Juice Bar with my life. Package deal, my dear."

Robin was glad that Ami seemed to be glad that they pet them, but still felt a little awkward about it. Ah well. Ami's fur was very soft, which had been nice...
Looking into the café, noting that Liem had said someone was Ezra, Robin wasn't sure who he was referring to, but nodded. "Ah, at least your... other human acquaintances... are here." Robin commented. It didn't sound like the humans were particularly friends, and hadn't wanted to assume such a thing. "Let's go inside. Then you can sit down and rest as well." they suggested, and moved to the doors, and pushed one open and held it for the others.

A glance at Don, and Ezra realised that he seemed different again. Was he back to being Don again? It seemed so, but Ezra was still a little cautious. "Glad you're back. The other guy was a bit pretentious for my liking." he commented. And there was only room for one person to be pretentious, and that was himself, Ezra thought. Not that he was particularly so, at least, he didn't think so.

He then raised an eyebrow as Grey had suggested and offered him to stay at his apartment for the night. Ezra was a little apprehensive about this. First of all, he didn't think that he was planning on staying long enough to need somewhere to spend the night. Secondly, Ezra didn't think that he'd been particularly polite enough to the vampire to warrant such an offer from them. Not that he really planned to be much more polite anyway. "We'll have to see how much longer I end up staying..." Ezra replied, then was quiet for a few moments before adding, "Thanks, though... I guess."

Being asked about himself was surprising to Ezra. Definitely not something he'd thought would be asked, and he didn't really think he was that interesting. Taking a long sip of the espresso, Ezra considered what he could say. Once he set the cup down, he shrugged. "I'm interested in being a scientist, I guess... I like finding logical explanations and reasons for things. At the moment, I quite like astronomy... oh..." a flicker of disappointment crossed his expression, "... Jupiter is supposed to be particularly bright and visible tonight, I was going to study it..."

He could tell that she was still probably not convinced of his name... but at least she didn't ask anymore questions or prod further. He wouldn't like to accidentally let anything slip. The last thing he wanted was the full truth to come out - it was safer for everyone that way.
Valiant then nodded in response. "I would." he confirmed. He was quite warmed to hear M'Aoti's answer. It was part of how he and the others designed the Fairground to be... to be a place of refuge and blessing for those outcasted, or even just looking for a new place to stay and work. A place to entertain, be provided for and give back. Not for any such greed or selfish reasons. That was something he was a little afraid of the Fairground turning into, but so far, things had avoided that path.

"It is okay. I am glad you found this place." Valiant replied, warmly. "Now... would you like a ride on the Ferris Wheel?" he offered.
He was going to gesture towards it, but glanced off quite suddenly, sensing someone was rushing towards them, as though racing.

He nodded his head at Ezra's comment "I agree, the other guy wasn't too cool." Greyson didn't like either of them much but Don was certainly the more likable one. "Alrighty, the offer still stands, Ez." He took a quick sip of tea. They listen to Ezra talk about some of his interests, he frowned at the disappointed look. "Astronomy? I took a small interest in that when I was younger, maybe early 70's? But if you really wanted to see Jupiter tonight we go see if anyone's got a telescope you could borrow. I'll give them free coffee for a day." He said with a small chuckle "Someone in the grounds must have one." Greyson hated to see others upset in anyway, it just bothers him ever so slightly. He shuffled his feet a little, they'd been having conversations on a daily bases but nothing like this in years. It was kind of strange to him, since he had normally hated long conversations with people he'd just met.

As Don listen quietly, he smiled upon hearing that both Ezra and Grey didn't take a liking to the other guy. Don himself didn't like them at times, but after living so long with them...he'd never try to get rid of them. They basically helped Don in his academic success and only pushed him to get more and more knowledge. They are even 80% of the reason they ended up here in the first place. Here, with a vampire and other supernaturals.

Amber eyes shifted from Grey to Ezra as they spoke. "Why study the Universe when our own planet has so many treasures to be found" Don commented with a dull tone, glancing warily at his empty coffee cup. He gave a tired sigh, "If anything, the vampire before you is much more interesting than an untouchable planet in the sky. Don't you think so? Its almost like your very own alien"

Caelan chuckled when Ember challenged him to a race and told her, "I'll give you a handicap, I'll stay in my wheelchair. But that doesn't mean I'll lose to you. My arms are still strong, and there's a slope up ahead that'll make me go faster going downhill. If you're serious that is. Distracted, Caspar almost bumped into their little group as they stopped in front of the café. The moment Ezra was mentioned, he audibly sighed as he remembered their previous encounters with the other humans. Seeing the rest of the group he came in with, he felt as if he had woken up from a dream full of supernatural beings. Oh well, it had to happen sooner or later, he thought.

As if to answer Liem, he slowly nodded and raised his eyebrows, and after a second walked towards the café. He thanked Robin for holding the door open, and before going in remarked: "The place smells nice;" - and continued- "I hope there's enough room for us. With luck the coffee won't be as bad as I first thought." After that, he went inside and looked for a table to sit at.

"Well, that's useful to know," Malum said, reaching in her pockets for the coins. She pulled them out & tossed two to Olliver. "Take good care of those coins, they're half a millennium old and it took a month for the human I hired to steal them from the British meuseum."
With that, she turned & waltzed out the door without another word, pausing to glance quickly at an absolutely ancient map on a sign nearby before trekking off to find the main tent.

He noticed Ezra talking to a...vampire? He wasnt sure if that's what he was, but waved to the cafe owner anyway.
