Clara looked at Jace worriedly, her mind racing. "W-wait," she called. "Jace? Have you ever set anything on fire?" Which, of course, was Clara's way of saying, Please don't burn down the school. Clara bit her lip, not wanting to tell him that she was secretly very afraid of fire.

She nods a bit"Good " she said, and glanced up at him as her tail flicked quickly a few times. As she heard him whisper no, then not good, as well slide to the floor"...you okay? " she asked, and noticed him look for something. She soon realized, why he'd taken that pill back earlier before gym class ".. oh.." she covered the bleeding spot on her lip, as she looked at him" it's the blood isn't?"

Jace Parker; 16; hall ; Clara
Jace smiled widely and nodded his aching head, which left him somewhat dizzy afterwards. "Yes. I can manipulate heat. Oh, and fire I guess. If I get hot enough." He happily shared with them. It was like a breath of fresh air to finally have people who can relate to him. "Do you know if anyone else is like us....?" he asked hesitantly. As their conversation went on, his rising temperature began to become more apparent. The air around him was becoming hotter and his headache became stronger.

Jae kim ; 17; hall; Kaiya
Jae led Kaiya into a janitor's closet at the back of the school and he locked the door behind them. He then had her sit down "You need to stay in here. No one can see you like this." he warned her, leaning up against the wall.

Finny stepped forward towards Jace, a concerned look overtaking her face. "Jace? Are you feeling okay? Do you need to see the nurse or something?" She could feel the air becoming warmer, and it certainly wasn't helping with her own aftershock lightheadedness.

Jace Parker; 16; hall ; Clara
"A few times." Jace answered tensely and backed away from the two. Due to his dizziness he tripped backwards, but was able to stop himself by slamming his hand onto the wall. Jace shook his head in an attempt to get a hold of himself. "I don't know why this is happening." he whispered, holding his free hand over his chest. Little did he know that his rising heat was his body reacting to his injury.

Jae kim ; 17; hall; Kaiya
Jae nodded his head and leaned his head back against the door. He growled in obvious pain and pounded his hand down on the floor beside him. His pale skin seemed to change to a sickly white and all of his veins turned a dark purple, almost black color. "Kaiya..." he muttered, coughing and panting heavily afterwards. "You need.... to lock..... me in here.... lock me in here..... and don't let me out no matter what."

Clara rushed over to Jace, grabbing his arm to steady the taller boy. "Well, me neither. C'mon, just sit down." Clara guided Jace to sit down, leaning against the wall. "Does this ever happen? Do you need medication... ice... water?" Clara tried not to panic; she was terrible in these situations.

Finny hesitantly reached out in an attempt to steady Jace, but quickly pulled her hand back from the amount of heat that was radiating from Jace. "Jace, you need to sit down. Have somebody..help you. You could have hurt yourself pretty badly, you know." Finny murmured, slipping her gloves on so that she could steady Jace without burning herself.

Kaiya
She bit her lip, but was careful this time not to peirce the skin as her nail were now claws. She shook her head a bit whether in denial of her thoughts, or to what he said"..I can't...I can't.. " she said in a low soft voice, looking at him as she had a hand on her chest, fitting her shirt a bit".. I'm..slowly changing.. if I.. go out there.. I'll.. I'll look like freak.." she said softly, staying where she was.

When Jace's hand was removed from the wall there was a charred handprint left behind. His skin was boiling hot. Hot enough that when he was sitting against the wall, it began to peel and burn. Jace blinked again and looked at both Clara and Finny's faces. "Water... the bathroom." he mumbled, still feeling dizzy. "Don't touch my skin. whatever you do.... don't touch it." he warned them. "I just need to get to the bathroom." he told them, trying to get back to his feet.

Jae kim ; 17; hall; Kaiya
Jae let out another scream of pain and slammed his fist down again. "YOU NEED TO DO IT!" he hissed venomously, worried about what he might do to her if she didn't get away from him soon. His eyes flashed purple and his fingernails began to elongate into sharp, talon-like nails.

Finny frowned, her face set in a mixture between concern and frustration. "Jace, you are on the verge of collapse. I don't know about Clara, but I am NOT leaving you alone. I'll be fine for now if I have to support you. My gloves are mildly fireproof."

Clara nodded. "Same," she said quietly. She barely knew Jace, but she didn't want anything to happen to him. "I'm staying. Even if it means going into the boy's bathroom. Yes," muttered Clara, "even that."
