"I say that we get there our own separate ways, this is another lesson. Lets see how you guys do with being stealthy." She said with a sick smile. "However you wish to arrive at the base is perfectly fine with me, but if you get caught, don't expect me to come rushing in to save you. Because I won't." Alvira said, giving each a serious look. "Yes Valgus, fun. You'll get a lot of that hanging around me." She said laughing as she spread her blood-red wings, flecked with gold and launched herself out of the third-story window. "Vates, keep an eye on those two, I want a full report on their progress. Do not step in, and don't let them see you, got it?" Alvira asked as she made her way to the hideout. "Of course Commander, I live to serve you." Vates said as he flew back to the church and waited for the two demons to make their move.

Valgus

He contemplated his options. He sent a tendril of his consciousness out and into a human. He gathered some information before having it move to another. He was gathering the best way to get there undetected. Once he found an angel free path way, he dissolved into shadows, and made his way to the base. He mimicked the shadows of humans and animals passing by, as not to draw any suspicion. Occasionally as he passed people, he'd do minor things like make their bags drop, or have their dog run off, but he was on a mission and had more important things to do than wreak minor havoc. It wasn't too long before he arrived at the skyscraper that Naira had said was the landmark for the angel's base. He exerted some of his energy, and caused a small electrical surge, causing the video cameras and surveillance monitors to go off line.

"I am raising a demon... Because everyone deserves a second chance." Michael simply answered, pulling the bandages free of his face to show his small smile as well as the jagged scar that ran from below his left ear to his chin, his blue gaze soft as his smile.

She tilted her head as Michael removed the bandage. She couldn't help but look over the scar and wonder what had happened. But it wasn't her place to ask, and some scars had painful memories with them.

Michael offered another, slightly pained smile. "My wife killed me in my sleep, cut my face and gutted me like a fish, I'm not comfortable removing my shirt, or I would show you."
