Lilith frowned worriedly and sat down next to the bed. "I'm a light sleeper. Don't be sorry," she started off, them comtinued. "Are you sure you're okay?" she asked. "It doesn't seem like you are," Lili told him. She stared up at him, her minty eyes sticking out in the dimness of the room. Really, Lilith's whole body stuck out because it was so pretty light.

Ringmaster found himself suspended between the discomfort of having his face in his pillow and the laziness that kept him from simply rolling into a new position. He wondered idly if one could fall asleep like this and accidentally suffocate themselves, but he wasn't particularly eager to try. He was still having a sleepy mental battle with himself as he dozed when the creak of the wagon door announced the entrance of a newcomer into the room. The sound bulldozed through his sleepy state like persistent jackhammer and he visibly perked up as he lifted his head from the pillows and breathed in some greatly needed oxygen.

The sight of Daniel coming through the doorway brought a bit of relief to Ringmaster who had been in denial about the amount of worry Daniel's absence had placed in him. His first reflexes urged him to get up and attach himself to Daniel like a vine on a pole, but Roslynn's rant still echoed in the forefront of his mind. How hard it would be to try to find a happy medium between work and Daniel! Rather than greet Daniel with the bear hug Ringmaster desired, he remained in bed and propped himself up on his forearms. "I searched for you after the show," he began, his voice carrying the same accusing tone one would have heard in their mother's voice if they came home too late. "Where have you been?"

Upon entering the room, he found Ringmaster was still awake within the dimly lit cabin. He gently shut the door, the soft click resounding in the silence left after Ringmaster's words. "I was out walking," Daniel replied to his lover, forcing on a small smile. He took his luminescent, cerulean and golden gaze from Ringmaster, taking a moment to strip out of his clothes and into just his boxers. He could not ignore the sick feeling within his stomach that was very much there, along with the indecision brewing and festering within his head, along with the turmoil inside of him that accompanied the feeling. He felt exhausted. He brushed back his ebony hair, taking a glance at Ringmaster before looking away as he approached the bed, sitting down on his side of the bed. He lifted his feet and slid them under the covers before pulling the covers around his waist, laying with his back facing Ringmaster. "Goodnight," he murmured in a quiet voice, hoping for the man to say nothing more.

Ringmaster absently watched Daniel prepare for bed as he mulled over Daniel's unsatisfactory answer. He expected something a bit more spectacular from such a randomly long break in habit, but he believed Daniel nevertheless. Even so, something about Daniel seemed... off. Daniel laid down in bed and tucked himself under the thin sheets that had been laid over the bed in response to the Australian heat. He turned his back to Ringmaster and mumbled the parting words of one ready to leave for dreamland, but Ringmaster was not satisfied.

The sheets rustled softly as the burgundy-haired man lifted himself up and plopped the weight of his upper body down on Daniel. His chin rested on his arms which rested folded lengthways over Daniel's side. He studied Daniel's face for a moment before reaching out with one hand and pressing the tips of his pianist-like fingers to Daniel's forehead. "Are you ill, love?" Yes, he was certainly still having trouble identifying inner turmoil when he saw it, but at least he'd actually noticed something was wrong this time. He was just a little off the mark.

Dyus' fiery irises gravitated back to Lilith as she sat next to him on the bed, before speaking once more. Her soft voice was soothing to him, and it slowly calmed him. "I will be okay. You do not have to worry, it is alright," he spoke to her in a reassuring voice, reaching out and gingerly, almost hesitantly, laying a hand upon her arm. He gave Lilth a close-lipped smile and a nod, his eyes luminescent within the dark room. The glow from the moon filtered through the window and into the cabin, providing a small amount of light to see by.

Daniel had not yet closed his eyes, looking off into space before his attention was snatched by Ringmaster's weight upon his side, and gentle fingertips pressing against his forehead, in search of a fever, or some sort of indicator of what was wrong. He sat up half way, silently looking to Ringmaster. "I'm not ill," he spoke quietly, his eyes surfing over Ringmaster's thin face. He moved one arm around Ringmaster and pulled him closer into a half-hug, pressing his face into the junction of Ringmaster's neck and shoulder. "I love you," he murmured within the honey-scented skin, his ebony hair cascading down to cover his face as he moved, his shoulders slumping. Usually he was better at hiding his issues, but, this wasn't just an issue. It was something that would change his life.

Ringmaster let himself be pulled into the unexpected one-arm hug, though it only convinced him more that all wasn't right in Daniel's world. His posture remained impeccably straight as usual while he sat in the hug. Daniel's face went to the crook Ringmaster's neck and he spoke, causing Ringmaster to give a faint shiver that he did his best to dismiss. Daniel's words sounded like a weary search for refuge, not the usual happy declaration. What kind of cold causes depression, he wondered stupidly, and which medicine treats it? as far as he knew, flus and colds didn't really make people the way Daniel was.

His hand lifted to Daniel's hair while his other arm wrapped around him to gently glide over his back in an attempt to provide comfort. "Well, that's a relief," he said with a jesting tone. "I suppose miracles do happen after all." Though he wouldn't deny that this had a bit of truth to it. The fact that Daniel put up with Ringmaster and loved him still was quite miraculous indeed.

"I'm having trouble identifying the cause of your mood," Ringmaster stated frankly. "Are you quite sure you are not ill?" His hand paused on Daniel's back as he waited for an answer.

Daniel felt little solace in Ringmaster's joking words, not replying until Ringmaster asked once more if he was sick. He lifted his head to look to Ringmaster, silent for a moment before speaking; "I'm just tired. The show took a toll on me tonight. That's all, I'm not sick. Just tired," Daniel lied to Ringmaster, giving a soft sigh as he looked into those maroon eyes of his. He found himself sinking into Ringmaster's warm arm that was wrapped around him. It wasn't entirely a lie, because he did feel quite exhausted. He just wanted to sleep, to avoid the turmoil inside of his brain. It made him feel restless. Daniel didn't really want to remain with the show. He didn't want to be looked upon as a "freak" anymore. He'd go out, buy contacts for his freakish eyes, so no one would ask questions. He wanted to settle down, to get away from the show. But, he didn't want to just leave Ringmaster. The man practically had his heart, and he didn't think it would be simple at all to just... leave.

Lilith slowly nodded and sort of flinched when he touched her arm. A little yawn escaped her lips, goving away that she was still pretty tired. Lili gave him a little wave then went back into the corner of the room she had been at, getting into her earlier position to use her wings as cushioning again. After a short glance towards Dyus, she fell asleep.

Locota smiled when he shook hands with her. Her white hair blew a bit at the slight breeze. When the flames went around her arm she jumped a bit then she went still scared that if she moved that the flames would burn her. Though after a while she relaxed and she smiled, "That's really cool." She said in a soft voice almost like a little bell going off. She started to laugh a little as she watched the flames.

Ringmaster's hand slid from Daniel's hair to his shoulder when the man lifted his head. Daniel spoke to dismiss Ringmaster's worry that he might be sick and Ringmaster gave a small nod. "Alright," he conceded as he lifted a hand to briefly run over the contours of Daniel's cheek and jaw. "I'll leave you alone then so you can sleep." His arm slide from around around Daniel, though he preferred to stay holding the man a little longer. Oh well. Perhaps Daniel would be better in the morning.
