► Jack watched her carefully, deciding she would be noticeably more sane than the surreal sight in front of him. He stuttered over his own tongue and couldn't even get a word out, rushing over to check. He picked the weapon up carefully, crouching down, then stood up slowly and handed it to her.
xxx"Uh..." he stuttered, swallowing hard. "Nope, seems fine." he whistled as he spoke, unsure of what to make of the stranger.

xxxSmiling a little, Jack tried to make conversation, though he was clearly not the happiest about it.
xxx"So... what's your name?" he asked hopefully, smiling warmly at the girl and relaxing a little. He immediately felt alright about her, and was hopeful that she'd be just as friendly as she seemed.

► Gillian nodded, nervous though he wasn't too fussed. It wasn't like he was trying to impress anyone; he just wanted a bit of aid, that was all. He almost didn't allow the younger man to even get a glance at the front of his chest, though there were no reasons or deformities that justified hiding it, so he didn't bother.

xxx"Of course." he mumbled, sliding the shirt off carefully and wincing at the pain that followed as the shirt moved against the gash, making him breathe hard for a moment. He sat up, lowering his shoulders and turning his head away so it'd be easier for Mason. The man found himself daydreaming again as he waited, starting to feel overwhelmed by his own head, even.

► The boy nodded, tightening his lips a little as he watched her twirling the knife. It almost made him shudder. Suddenly his gaze shot back up to her again.
xxx"Evelyn... Right, awesome," he smiled, wondering how on Earth he'd remember her name. "Well, I'm Jack. That's really it." he shrugged and smiled again nervously. It was less of a smile, more half a smile and maybe not even that, but he figured that he couldn't just glare relentlessly at her all day long despite how confused he was.

xxxFinally, Jack cleared his throat and stood straight, watching her and moving his hands into his jeans pockets as he relaxed.
xxx"So, where'd you come from? You sorta came out of nowhere." he uttered curiously, frowning to himself. Of course she did, Captain Obvious. He sighed, trying to encourage her to answer by smiling a little and shrugging his shoulders into a more relaxed position.

xxxxxxx As river fell Emma grew worried, mostly because she wasn't really strong enough to carry somebody. Though she could still support him, so she bent down and put one of his arms around her shoulder to help him up, which was still rather hard for her. "hey, you're not allowed to die." she said, with a worried tone, moving towards the warehouse once more, their plans to leave being put on hold. Her curious nature pondered what could be wrong, but knowing absolutely nothing of medical things she came up blank, so her mid reverted to the cause, which seemed to be gillian, who she contemplated ways of killing, the most prominent being a sai to his throat while he slept, which seemed very reasonable.

xxxxxxx After helping river into the warehouse, she asked someone where mason was, before helping him to the males room, and spotting gillian she scoffed silently, however she would have to at least play nice. "Mason, river need's medical attention....and troy is gone." she said, now realizing how important her position actually was, it wasn't too often one needed an actual medic, considering that usually a simple stitch-up or bandage could fix most problems. She tried to ignore gillian's presence, as it was the 'nicest' thing she could think of at the moment.

xxxxxxx The sound of laughing caused xena to stop in her tracks, the sudden lack of movement making Daisy fall off. 'ow' she quietly mumbled before peering over the tiger's side at the culprit who had made the tiger stop. However she didn't say anything, as another appeared and the two began talking, simply watching from behind her guardian. The bunny in her arms was wriggling to be free of her grasp, wanting to greet the new people, though Daisy didn't trust other people too much with angel, seeings as there were plenty of people who would look at the critter as nothing more than food. Angel however did manage to escape, and bound over to the two new people. "Angel..." she quietly scolded the bunny for escaping trying to catch it before it got over to them, and failing, causing her to actually have to approach them. "h-hi..." she mumbled shyly, bending down to pick up the bunny, before looking at the two newcomers, hoping they weren't dangerous.

► Hearing the familiar voice, Gillian sat up properly and shot around, a hoarse snicker escaping his throat as he looked to the two. He was surprised they were here, but upon looking to River and seeing the state he was in, he quickly figured out why. He licked his dry lips carefully, smirking at them.
xxx"Looks like a fracture." he commented slyly, wondering if he'd scare the boy. He knew himself it couldn't be unless his hit was better than he had first thought in the moment.

xxxHe gazed at them for a moment, his eyes set mainly on the boy as he tried to calm his breathing down. Gillian had noticed that he was breathing too much. Too fast and too heavy, and bit his lip carefully to try and calm down, forcing out a large sigh. He took another drag on the cigarette, turning back away and 'excusing' himself so that Mason could speak to them. He sat leant over with his elbows on his thighs, his face hinting at his exhaustion as his expression turned to one of discomfort. His breaths grew heavy as his chest moved up and down quicker than it should have been, the light hairs on his arms starting to stand on end as he started to become cold.

► Jack looked over as she fell, being unable to help but chuckle. His eyebrows raised as he glanced at Evelyn, cocking his head towards Daisy a little. He frowned as he watched the rabbit, wondering why she had either of the two animals in the first place. He quickly got thrown back into reality once the girl spoke, trying to put on a more-or-less friendly smile again, as he had done with the girl he was currently speaking to.
xxx"Hey," he grinned, crossing his arms and sighing, relieved that neither of the two seemed like they were wanting to cause any sort of trouble. He decided to poke at her and question the obvious before anything else, his curiosity killing him.
xxx"So uh..." he pointed a little at the tiger, snickering carefully as he nodded his head towards the large animal. "Where do you get something like that?" Jack asked, obviously finding humour in the surreality of being within metres of a tiger that didn't at all seem like it was going to do anything.
