Jae backed up in surprise when he saw ears appear on her head. "E-ears-" he stuttered, trying to comprehend what he was looking at. "So this is her power" he thought and snatched her hand into his own. "Follow me!" he commanded, hurriedly dragging her down the hall

She bit her lip, and blinked"..wha -"she was a bit startled, and more nervous as her became red and slotted a bit. She let him lead her down the hall, as she was fighting to keep her human form, but was slowly losing the fight and thought please hurry..! .

A bubble of happiness burst out of her in the form of a nervous laugh. "Yes, I expect so," she smiled. Clara looked at Jace inquisitively. "So your power has something to do with heat, right?"

A sense of excitement replaced the nervousness as Jace spoke. "Excellent! Yes!" She jumped slightly, grinning. "You're like some sort of fire thing. No rain, doesn't get burnt.."

Jace smiled widely and nodded his aching head, which left him somewhat dizzy afterwards. "Yes. I can manipulate heat. Oh, and fire I guess. If I get hot enough." He happily shared with them. It was like a breath of fresh air to finally have people who can relate to him. "Do you know if anyone else is like us....?" he asked hesitantly. As their conversation went on, his rising temperature began to become more apparent. The air around him was becoming hotter and his headache became stronger.

Jae led Kaiya into a janitor's closet at the back of the school and he locked the door behind them. He then had her sit down "You need to stay in here. No one can see you like this." he warned her, leaning up against the wall.

"No," Clara admitted, fanning herself with her hand. "Er, do you think you could turn the temperature down? It's getting hot in here." Clara wasn't completely sure why the air was heating up, but she subconsciously suspected that Jace, like her and Finny, didn't have complete control over his powers. Clara turned back to Finny. "Are you feeling better?"

She sat there, breathing a bit unevenly ".. I hope no one.. saw that.. " she mutters as she braced her hands on her knees ".. I.. I know.. I thought.. I could control it...but-..ow " she lifted a hand up to her lips, as she felt something prick her lip, and noticed her canines were sharper and had peirced the skin her lip, as blood trickled from it"..great.. now I gotta wait for it wear off.."

"I-is it getting hotter?" Jace asked and looked down at his hands. He couldn't feel it. He had no idea that his body temperature was rising. He blinked a few times, trying to get a hold of himself. "What the-" he murmured, noticing the heatwave that was radiating off of him. "I think I should....I should go..." he whispered, still examining his hands.

"I don't think anyone did." Jae huffed and moved in front of the door. He double checked that it was locked and then suddenly his heart began to beat. Blood. The smell of blood again. His eyes widened when he figured out where the scent was coming from. Kaiya. Kaiya was bleeding. "No..." he mumbled, sliding onto the ground. "This isn't good." he whispered, quickly turning to look for his pills. But they weren't there.
