"Neferre.." The Rezla mused, thinking about this new information. He did believe he had heard of someone by that name over the centuries, although if what this boy said was true, it would only be recently she had been on Menia. He would also assume he'd have been notified of the kidnapping of a Menian child, but he could not recall such a thing happening. However, his memory was not infallible, so the Rezla King decided to reserve judgement for the time being. The touch of telepathy pawed at his mind, and he turned to Ivy, a look of irritation on his face. "I would rather you didn't, girl." Over the centuries, he'd become accustomed to all sorts of magic and abilities, and taken the liberty of guarding himself against such things.

Axl's shout brought him out of his reverie, and he looked surprised as he flung his accusations at the pair. Taking it all in, he turned to Ivy and Karamu. "Is this true?" Then he looked at Axl. "You have seen Karamu on the side of Kinia?" As a vine whipped past his face, headed for Karamu, Zenin caught it in a gloved hand, placing his other on Axl's chest. "Wait. If he is indeed from Kinia, I would like to know what he knows of her defences. Surely you two saw something of use to me as you escaped? It would be in your best interests to tell, as my knight here would very much like to kill you."

"aha....sorry...it's instinct" she apologized, looking down. She turned to Axl angrily
"Of course you saw him on the border, you idiot, haven't you been listening this whole time? Of course you'd think he's a kinian, cause he's been faking it for the sake of his life!" she stopped, realizing that while she only meant to direct that statement to Axl, Zenin could have taken that as an offense
"W-with all due respect...your highness" she said, and once again looked at her feet.

(FYI, Karamu's mother actually is on menia (I'm sure you already know, but just in case you didn't))

(I had an idea omg

What if in order to stop the war, they had to get rid of one of the leaders, whom they thought would be Zenin.
But it turns out that the Acela has a MUCH darker side to her, so they had to kill her. It'd work out, since no one is playing as the queen right now, and if I took the queen, I'd be totally fine with her getting killed.


I'm also debating having Ivy like Zenin, but he's centuries old and has two kids so....)

"All I know are the rotations of the knights. That's all I had to know. The majority of them have no powers besides training in sword and hand to hand combat. If I could offer more to you, my king, I would gladly do so, but all I know is what aided in my escape." Karamu steps away from the plants rushing at him, never seeing that kind of magic before. He glared at Axl, wanting to defend himself, but knowing that if he did they'd see right through his story.

Abe grabs the tent, returning it to its previous state, finally setting it up. "Sorry Aiden, didn't mean to drop it on you. Wanna grab some more fish before we head to bed? Adrian, you want some more food? I think I grabbed some veggies that we can roast so you don't need any fish."

Zenin's eyes narrowed, watching Ivy closely during her outburst at Axl, before commenting, "I hate to sound like I'm interrogating you two, but I'd just like to clear up some things. Ivy," He tugged on his gloves as he talked, having released Axl's vine, trusting him not to kill Karamu while Zenin was still talking, "You seem to be quite attached to this Menian. How did you know he was on Kinia? I doubt your escort taking you to Estille would go anywhere near the dungeon. And if he'd been imprisoned all that time, how is it you have seconded Axl's statement that he has been seen on Kinia's shore? Please enlighten me." He blinked slowly, waiting for the two to prove him wrong. His gut instinct told him there was something funny going on, and he was determined to find out what.

"gladly, your highness" she replied.
"My escort took me to the dungeons to stay until the queen was available, and while I was in the dungeons, another man was thrown in, Karamu, who had apparently been caught disguised as a menian soldier near the shore. So he actually has attempted escape several times. But we worked together to get out and managed to get here. This explains why Axl may have noticed him on the shore. And the reason why I know he saw him on the shore, Is cause I could read his wariness using telepathy" she explained.
She knew that whatever happened, her safety wasn't necessarily on the line, she was one of the most trusted menians, especially because of her mother, and was the only medic Menia currently had.
Her only goal at this point was to reunite Karamu with his mother, and be home.

"I brought marshmallows!" He said, and looked up to see that it was basically pitch dark out, aside from the fire.

"You're welcome Leilah, just let one of us know if you need anything!" Adrian said cheerfully before turning to face Aiden. Adrian also didn't like veggies as he was a picky eater. "U-Uh, thanks.. but no thanks, Abe." He sounded irritated and he was since Aiden didn't seem to like Leilah and also moved away from him to sit with Abe. Adrian cracked his knuckles, grinding his teeth together slowly. He didn't like marshmallows either and he hated to ruin the fun. "No, I'll.. just go hungry and go to bed," he mumbled, "Plus what're we gonna put them on, sticks? You don't know what's been on them." Adrian rolled his eyes and then went into the tent.

Axl took a step forward when Ivy snapped at him, but stopped himself from going any further when Zenin put his hand on his chest. "Sorry," he hissed, still glaring at Ivy and Karamu. Axl didn't know how he felt at the moment, so his eyes and horns kept changing colours rapidly. He was tempted to not obey Zenin and just straight up kill Karamu right then and there as the vine was dropped. Axl stepped back as the colour faded from his markings, still keeping close to Zenin as he slipped his sword into its sheathe. I know he's from Kinia, I just know it. Axl's long ears twitched as he heard quick movement in the trees. He turned his head, trying to see what it was even though it was nearly pitch black. It was probably a squirrel or a bird, but it was annoying him so he made a branch slap it into the air. He laughed quietly at his morbid actions like a child squishing a caterpillar or torturing an inchworm before turning back to the people in front of him.

Leilah felt a bit bad about Adrian not eating, but didn't feel like it was her place to say or do anything about it. "Anyway... You said something about marshmallows. I mean... Those are nice...." She piped up, a little awkward about asking them to share even more things when all they wanted to do was... Go camping she guessed. If anyone felt annoyed or upset with her being there any longer, she wasn't aware of it, but she was trying to avoid it.
