"Ugh, buzzkill," Malum griped when Taurus asked for his uniform back. "But all right, if you insist." She snapped her fingers, and the maid dress became a uniform again. Since Anni had also asked for it, her clothes turned into a similar maid dress, but this time with aquamarine and choral pink accents, along with calico style cat accessories. Malum took another sip from her drink, accessing her handy work.
"Mm, I like this. Makes you look like the little mermaid," Malum said. "I still feel like your uniform is lacking though Taurus. You look better in something that sparkles." She snapped her fingers again, and the back of Taurus's jacket had "fabulous" written across it in rhinestones.
"Better," Malum said, looking satisfied. She took another sip & said, "so, what do you guys do for fun around here? Aside from copying social media trends anyway." Sip. "Personally, I've never been a fan. Just seems like a tacky human thing to me. Unless it's talking about the latest celebrity gossip that is, because I'm all for capitalizing on the misfortunes and embarrassments of the ritch & famous."

The black haired, eared, and tailed one smiled at the siren. Not that Robin was in Siren form right now. For all intents and purposes, they looked completely human. Nodding to Caspar, they said "Maybe that is a good idea...There's a ferris wheel, a juice bar, a cafe, a ring toss. They could have gone to any of those, or the fortune teller. They probably won't be in the auditorium," they said.

The redhead with the nose and cheek freckles hummed a bit. The lighter tanned and turquoise eyed one looked at Thunder, and made a small sound. Well, if he wanted one, she wouldn't stop him. If he even liked her that way back...which she didn't know if he did.

"I..don't know about them, but I swim a lot for fun. And hang out with the sea animals that are part of my act." She didn't say that she also seeked Thunder out a lot.

The dark brown straight haired one looked to Alex, saying "Seven or eight...maybe? I wasn't exactly focused on counting people; I was focused on seeing the place. A show you say?" they asked. "That actually sounds like a lot of fun."

They hummed quietly and continued to sit there and watch. They tilted their head when Thunder said they should all get uniforms. "All of us, as in me included?" the human asked. They didn't really mind, they just didn't know if he meant them too.

The average height creamy skinned Canadian hummed. The blonde and blue eyed, partially blind male nodded. "Besides, they're really cute; not like in a romantic way, but I think they're cute. Especially the wolf form," he said. Which made sense, seeing as he loved dogs. Wolves were closely related to dogs, being their ancestors. He shrugged as he looked at the other human. "Okay," he said to Caspar, then made a small sound. "Yeah...maybe we should find the others. We should probably head back to town; and not tell anyone about this," he said.

Caelan shook his head, "No, my birth mother died giving birth to me, and I never met my biological father. The couple that raised me were humans, although I have reason to believe they knew more about the supernatural than they let on. They taught me the spell to disguise myself as a handicapped child when I was younger." When she asked about siblings, he told her, "If I have any, I don't know about them. Since I never met my father, there's a chance he's fathered other children."

He looked surprised for a second, hearing about all those fair attractions he still hadn't checked out. "Huh." Changing back to his neutral, unbothered expression, he thought about where the others could have gone to. He remembered Ezra walking towards the café, but the rest had likely split up by now. Considering every option that had been listed, he thought about the fortune teller. Normally he'd think it was all a scam for money, but given how supernatural creatures were real in this place... maybe whoever was in charge of fortune telling had some actual magic powers or could tell the future. They'd be able to help him, perhaps.
As Liem spoke, Caspar gave him a quick, piercing glance. "Head back to town...? Hold on." He took a deep breath, and thought about it for a second. He wanted to tell the world about this place, but maybe keeping it as a secret would be better... Both for him and the people in the fairgrounds. "Well, I guess we can come back tomorrow."

"Very sensible - last thing we need is for someone to be fired. Though your boss could probably lighten up a bit." Olivier said, nodded sensibly. He loved having a bit of a joke and tease, but not if it meant someone would get hurt in any way. It had been a fun thing while it had lasted, though. Perhaps, later on... when work shifts were finished for the day.
Olivier focused on Taurus as he managed to get over the counter and to the other side of the bar. Olivier rarely let anyone else behind the counter, given it was his workspace. He set his shaker and a glass he'd been holding down. "Very elegant." he said, lightly. He then stepped backwards until his back bumped against the wall.

"Astonishing? How so?" Olivier asked, raising an yebefoe, almost quite forgetting that there were other people also at the Juice Bar for a moment, and he blushed. Ahhh and he'd tried so hard to not blush. And yet, there it was, his cheeks flushed with pink. He still tried to keep his cool and calm composure, though, as though pretending he wasn't blushing at all.

"Hmm... it is starting to get a bit later. I'm a little surprised by how much time has passed." Robin admitted - it was quite astonishing to realise this. Nodding towards Ami, Robin commented, "Yeah, there's lots of places that they could all be... maybe they didn't split up too much." they weren't sure if there was an easy way for the humans to regroup... maybe they'd just have to go around to the different locations and hope for the best.

"Well. I would appreciate it if you didn't tell anyone else. I don't think we need to be discovered by too many more humans." Robin said. They knew it might sound a little harsh - their tone wasn't harsh, but the words may seem so anyway - but they did want to make sure the place was protected.
"Starting at the Café or even the Juice Bar would be a good idea." Robin said, "Though I would recommend staying to see the Fairground at night - the lights make it look particularly stunning and different to the day... but perhaps that can be saved for tomorrow if you have to be getting back."

"And if you haven't noticed, I'm a human. And unfortunately, I do have to sleep. Even when I have more important things to do." Ezra replied. "And coffee can have a variety of flavours - depending on the beans used. Though having the one general taste makes it easier - don't have to waste time picking a flavour."
The confirmation of it all being real wasn't really needed, but... it did let him know that he wasn't ignored. Not that he'd have let himself be. Ezra leaned forward until his head was down against the counter - it was better than falling onto the floor. Oh boy. This all didn't quite make any logical sense. It just didn't! And yet. Here he was.

Ezra glanced up when another being entered, and he made an offended-sounding scoff at her question. Weirdo? He was certainly not. And he definitely did not like the attitude. Neither did Not-Don either... he was assuming - a step into finding him more likable in Ezra's view.
"Well, I can already tell you definitely don't want us humans here." Ezra commented, towards the stranger. "And I could have introduced myself, thank you..."

Now back to his crisis. After some more espresso - nodding slightly at Grey's offer for another drink. "Yes. Please." Ezra replied, and put his head down on the counter again.

He continued his job, allowing visitors on and off the Ferris Wheel as appropriate. It was always nice to hear how excited some visitors were, and how amazed they'd been of the views they'd had while on the Ferris Wheel.
It wasn't long, though, when Valiant sensed someone stood near him, but not in the line, however. He turned just before the someone spoke, 'looking' directly at her. He tilted his head slightly, unsure if he recognised the voice. Not someone that he knew particularly well. But the voice claimed that she was a staff member. It was better to be safe and be sure.

"That depends... remind me of who you are?" Valiant asked, his tone careful, but gentle. "Though you can collect a staff token from most of the ticket booths." he added, warmly. Not everyone was aware of that, though, he knew, so he wasn't mad about it or anything. If anything, he was quite pleasantly surprised and amused by how polite she had been in asking.

"My apologizes, this is Adreanna but I call her Anna and she's a wendigo shapeshifter." He introduce her to the others. "I don't think they're weirdos, just... different." Grey spoke with a small smile, trying a bit to defend his costumers. They weren't so bad anyways. Grey paused for a quick second. "Dear..? So sweet of you." They said with an eye roll. He turned again, calmer this time, to make another coffee. "So, what do you guys plan on doing here? There is some nice sites around the place I could show you. Plus, I do need to purchase some flowers from a shop for the tables." He said as he quickly motioned his head in the direction of the empty tables, keeping his back towards them.

He finished up the coffee and placed it in front of Ezra. "How much of that can you drink before you crash?" They said with a slight chuckle at the end. "Speaking of, where do you guys plan on sleeping? I assume you have all decided to stay the night." He was curious of these humans. Why had they came to the café? Of course they were hungry but the juice bar was always an option. Plus, they haven't tried to hide the fact they're annoyed by something. He leaned against the counter, straightening out his back for a moment before returning to his slouch.

Taurus was thankful that Malum kindly returned his uniform. "Deeply appreciated" he said "is the shiny badge on my uniform that says I have power not enough for sparkle?" he questioned. then decided to ignore it. -whatever. I'll show her glitter- he thought to himself planning what he would wear tomorrow whatever it was it had to be sparkly and stand out. as Taurus normally likes to stand out. He never noticed the words pop up on his uniform. he doesn't have eyes on the back of his head.... I mean he could if he wanted too but that would be weird and kind of gross. SHHHHHHHHH, we won't tell him the word fabulous is on the back of his uniform yet! we will wait till the very end of the day to tell him HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEH

Oliver always seemed to surprise Taurus. make him rethink his thoughts and opinions of others and himself. he liked that about Oliver. "Well, you always seem to amaze me, that's for starters" he said now having Oliver backed up to one of the marble walls that was used for decoration. (Id assume there is one because most restaurants must have some tile or stone walls for the back counters since most messes will be made there) Oliver's cute little elf ears would go red at the tips when he blushed. Taurus liked Oliver too. he smiled sympathetically as he put his arms up by Oliver's head and leaned in using the wall as a support. He knew Oliver was trying to pretend that he wasn't blushing. Taurus already knew he had won. That's what he was looking for. for Oliver's checks to be red or at least a rosy pink. "You know Olly... your ears do this cute little thing when you blush... they go pink on the ends." he said looking Oliver in the eye with this gentle smile he was using. Yes, he used a nickname. he bends his head a little closer to whisper in Oliver's ear and said, "I win" then gave him a widdle winky face biting his tongue.

He liked it when he won a challenge. doesn't matter if it's childish and pointless or important and serious. he will take any challenge on. Others would use this as a tool of manipulation since he was gullible this way. It's not all his fault, he is that way. growing up he has always felt useless and a waste of space. so deep down he feels the need to impress everyone or make usefulness of himself. If he can't find a way to do either of those things he tends to feel down and upset about it. He doesn't go out seeking approval from everyone. it's not approval he wants. All he wants is to not feel useless or a waste of time and space. He doesn't want to seem weak or venerable. He just wanted someone to be proud of him for something. for once. someone that wasn't thunder because thunder doesn't count, he is his brother. Thunder was this way too.

he nodded in acceptance with what malum did. he wasn't going to tell him because he was indeed "fabulous" it looked good on the uniform anyway. It matched the badge and all the color themes. "Yes, a wonderful job malum" he smiled to her. He liked her personality. It was fun and enjoyable. She knows how to get a good laugh and Thunder deeply appreciates it. especially at a time like this. Since they moved here the brothers just felt it was hard trying to fit in, they never felt like they fit in anywhere though. All they wanted was to find a purpose to be there. reasoning. something that makes life worth living. loss is never an easy thing.

He had a soft laugh when he looked over to Anni. She looked just as fabulous. "You look wonderful Anni!" he said admiring the BEUTIFUL BARKLES!!! yes, this is wonderful "this is perfect! we can make a cute little tik toc or something like that. whatever the humans do now-a-days." Thunder and Taurus used to make these fun little videos all the time when they lived in the human world. not the most popular but it has a fair number of views. most of the videos they did was piano, cooking, messing around, pranks, or dancing because they loved to dance... but nobody ever knew that because lol ITS A BROTHER'S SECRET!!!

he nodded to Anwin. "Sure thing! -if you want to- I wont f-fforce you." lol his stutter this normally only happens if he is anxious, stressed, vewy sad, or super excited. in this case he was excited. He was making new friends, Taurus was laughing and having an enjoyable time and FINALLY TAKING A BREAK FOR HIMSELF, there is glitter in the room, and everything is really brightening up this gloomy morning. He wished these kinds of feelings lasted forever. Thunder normally tries his best to hide the stutters. He isn't a fan of it and doesn't like that he will stutter so much. Sometimes it gets so bad it becomes hard for him to speak a full sentence. But that rarely happens.

She found it surprising how Caelan didn't know much about his family. It was nice to hear about it though. Her family was far different. She knew everyone... a little too well. "Sorry you never knew your real parents." she knows how it can be hard on some but not everyone she wasn't sure if Caelan was upset about that sort of thing or not. She still had so much to learn about this place. "Do you ever wonder what they would have been like?" she asked. and had a hundred more questions to ask along with that. "Do you know what it's like to be in a heart of horses or just in a family of people? Have you ever just run in the fields? how fast can you run anyway?" She wondered if a centaur could run faster or longer than normal horses. That would be cool. "How do you clean your hooves anyway? Do you have someone else to do it? If you do everything yourself, how do you know when it's time to file down your hoofs?" She knows a lot about horses and is a horse girl herself. Horses are not her favorite animal... but then again, she loves a lot of animals. except sharks. she does not like sharks.... or eels. She is cool with spiders and snakes. not eels or sharks thought.

as they walked, she took note of her surroundings seems they were walking by the café now and a- juice bar? very odd thing to have in the middle of nowhere. there also seemed to be a fares wheel far ahead. that looked fun. "Oh, hey we should go there! that looks so high!!" She liked rollercoasters and theme park stuff. suitable place to burn energy and have fun. "Come on!" she said, taking Caelan's hand and gently tugging him to the fares wheel.
