Aisling almost opened her mouth to tell Ardai that his words wouldn't be heard by the animal summoner but refrained from saying anything. She found his words to be soothing despite the fact that they wrong. That being said it was that fact that made them even more soothing. It allowed her to pretend that they were on a peaceful mission instead of worrying about if their other two teams had run into trouble. So it was really nice to hear something like 'I will carry you bridal style.' It was a good image to replace the images of their allies injured or worse. Then Freyja squeezed her shoulder and she glanced over at the other girl with slight confusion until she saw the gentle expression that softened the other girls face. It was a response to her earlier reaction, which was sweet. She was pulled from her gentle thoughts when Caleb spat and gripped her shoulder tensely, something that her tiny frame was unused to and was a bit painful. Luckily Caleb seemed to notice and let go of her to explain the situation. "Vishante kaffas!" she swore loudly. It wasn't in a language that any of her fellow allies would know but it was from her late father's favorite video game and ever since he had passed she found herself swearing like him. Perhaps she had reacted terribly but the idea of her allies being injured got her blood boiling. With a split second decision she made up her mind and fixed Caleb with a steady gaze and shoved the bags into Caleb's hands, literally shoving. She didn't wait to see if he had actually caught them before she was breezing past them. "I must go help them" she said boldly as she hurried in the direction that the fighting was. Not that she could hear it but she knew where it was going down.
Racing through the streets wasn't something that would do for a normal onetian so she was forced to walk at a fast pace until she was free of the prying gazes. Once she reached a point where nobody could really see her from the city she jolted into a run with desperation in her every stride. She had to get there in time, there was no option where she couldn't get there in time. As she came into view of the battle she noticed a few things right off the bat. The blood on Quinn, the cut on Ella's face, the dead solider's. Then she spotted the prince who was being charged by what appeared to be the leader, however given how everyone seemed okay with this she assumed that the prince was okay. Must have challenged them to a duel, it was the only reason she could come up with where the other solider's and her allies would be okay with such a situation. So instead of going to the prince's aid she started towards the other solider. She had just stooped to pick up a sword when she saw something wrong. A second solider was approaching the prince from behind, taking light steps. Spinning on a dime she let out a loud war cry as she raced towards the sneaky solider. The moment she was close enough to the solider she flung her tiny body at them, the centeral point of her weight hitting their hips. Because of her own low center of gravity and the where she had launched her self she knocked the solider down with the force of her momentum. Landing heavily on top of the solider she felt the breath rush out of her lungs leaving her gasping slightly. Despite her gasping she started to sit up so that she wasn't crushing the solider's chest. That being said she still hadn't fully regained her breath yet which is why she wasn't one hundred percent prepared for the sword that came out of nowhere. Luckily she jerked to the side enough so that instead of slicing her head off it instead grazed her neck cut a few strands of her purple hair. "You beast! How dare you use such cowardly acts" she told the solider like he was some child that needed to be chastised. Without giving them a chance to respond she used the blunt end of her own sword to knock them out. Then she tossed the sword aside. Lifting her hand she touched the cut on her neck. It wasn't deep at all but it was deep enough to draw blood.
