Eli wakes up and smiles. "Today's the the day I ask Sakuraki out."
Kada hissed in his cage. "Oh you like her." Kada hissed again "Shut up." Eli says walking to the bathroom and getting ready.

The sound of birds chirping made Sakuraki open her eyes and squint against the sunlight that was tricking through her emerald green curtains. She slowly pushed herself up from the bed, yawning. She then fell back onto her bed, as if she had given up trying to be wide awake. Her bunny, who abandoned its silky, tiny bed at night and somehow crawled up next to Sakuraki, fell onto the floor with a thump.
"Oh, Peppermint." Sakuraki glanced at the floor, surprised.
She forced herself to get off the bed, and using two hands, Sakuraki gently placed Peppermint onto its own mini bed.
She glanced at the calendar. The fact that there was no school today made her quite happy and made her not as sleepy.
"I have nothing to do, maybe I should call Eli or some of my classmates over."

Eli walks out of the bathroom,picks up his cell phone, and calls Sakuraki "Heylo it's Eli.I was wondering if you wanted to hang out today, or go for a hike or something."

As she was changing into a comfortable kimono suited for outdoors, her phone rang shrilly. She quickly walked towards her bedside table, picking up her phone.
"Heylo it's Eli. I was wondering if you wanted to hang out today, or go for a hike or something."
"Oh! I was just about to call you. Sure, let's go somewhere nice, without evil teachers trying to trap and hurt us. Should I call and meet up with the others?" Sakuraki replied, faintly smiling and she sat lightly on her bed.

Eli blushes over the phone. "W-well c-could it be j-just u-us." He stutters. "i m-mean if you want to g-go with the o-others that's o-okay."

Sakuraki didn't know why he was stuttering, but she blushed even deeper than crimson by the fact that he was offering to go alone with her.
"O-oh, erm, sure! I mean... If you want to. I don't know where we should go though, erm, do you have any ideas?" She quickly stood up and walked over to her bookshelf, taking out some vacation books.

"Out to lunch or dinner or something like that."

"Oh! Let's go to an amusement park, have lunch, then to the beach?" Sakuraki was frantically flipping through the books with one hand, and holding the phone on the other. She winced as her index finger slipped around the corner of a page.
"Ouch!" She mumbled frustratingly, glancing at the blood seeping out of the cut on her finger.
"Anyways, I found a good restaurant near the amusement park. It's not too expensive and the food looks decent." Her eyes were glued to the book.

"Yeah! I'll pay for it if you like." Eli says making himself some food "What time should we meet?" He asks, eating his food

"We can split the money." Sakuraki glanced at the clock on her bedside table. It reads 8:34 AM. "How about at 10 AM? In front of your house or mine?" Her stomach growled at the sound of eating coming from the other side of the phone.

"Yours. So see ya later?"

"Yup. Bye!" Sakuraki pushed "End" on her phone, and placed it on her bedside table. Then, she strolled into the kitchen. The hard, grey kitchen floor felt cold against her toes and feet. She warily went back into her room and slipped on fluffy pink slippers.
After she ran back into the kitchen, she took four eggs out of the fridge, broke them open into a bowl, and beat the eggs with chopsticks. She was making japanese omelettes (tamagoyaki). 20 minutes later, the omelettes were placed on a plate with miso soup and octopus sausages. Peppermint was also sniffing a bowl of vegetables that Sakuraki placed lovingly onto the floor.

Eli sits down on his bed and sighs. "Me and my king are going out on a date. Wow." Kada hisses loudly. "Oh shut up! I'm getting you a mouse right now!" he says walking to the container with mice running around in it. Eli puts on a pair of gloves and puts 3 mice in Kada's cage "Happy?"

After the satisfying lunch, Sakuraki walked into the bathroom and combed her hair carefully. She stared at her reflection.
"Is it a d-date?" She suddenly covered her mouth. "What if it is? How should I act? Is my kimono suited for it? Should I wear casual clothes instead? What should I do?" She decided to text Eli.
What am I supposed to wear? Her fingers flew over the screen of the phone. After 10 seconds of reconsidering if she should press send, her thumb pressed the button.

Whatever you want. Eli texts back, laying on his bed.

Oh, I can't decide. Kimono or casual clothes? Her thumb hit the send button again.

Casual clothes are fine. Eli texts back, as he yawns

Sakuraki opened her wardrobe and scanned her clothes. "Hm..." The striped dress? No. The beige top? No. Lavender coloured shorts? No.

Eli shrugs "I guess I can take a nap before the date." he says yawning again

Sakuraki ended up with a pearl white laced top, and pale pink shorts.
She then texted Eli again. What swimming clothes should I pack? The school swimsuit? I'm not sure because I rarely go to the beach.
Sakuraki smeared a huge load of sunscreen over her body, adding extra on her face.
"Oh god, I'm so nervous." Sakuraki muttered as she packed her bag, throwing a towel and goggles in. She looked briefly at the clock. It reads 9:15 AM.

Eli checks his phone. Dude, chill. We're going to the beach. People from hollywood aren,t gonna be judging you because of your swimsuit. Wear what you want to wear he replies to Sakuraki. He walks into his room and picks up a pair of jeans, a green plaid shirt, and his swimshorts. See you soon! he texts, walking out of his door.

After reading the text, Sakuraki stuffed the beachwear that her old school friend bought her once.
"Oh, he has no idea. Girls judge each other all the time. That's why we have bullies in this world." She mumbles to no one in particular.
After packing everything, she sat on her bed and took out a smooth, beige covered book she was reading last night to pass time. Her slender fingers tapped against the cover as she hummed a song. She was completely off the tune.

Eli was at her front door 10 minutes early. He plugs his earplugs into his mp3 player and listens to a song or two to pass the time.

The clock reads 10: 51. Sakuraki slipped on a pair of patterned sandals, grabbed her wristwatch, and waited for the bell to ring. Her feet nervously tapped against the ground. Tap, tap, tap. Eli knocks on Sakuraki's door.

"Oh!" Sakuraki quickly unlocked the door with a click and pulled it open. She grinned and waved. "Good morning! How are you? Do you need anything to eat before we set off?"

"I ate before I came here, so no thank you." Eli says taking his earbuds out of his ears

"Oh, okay." Sakuraki smiles faintly and added, "Let's go, then! Do you want to take a bus? I'm afraid there are very little around here though... I don't know if we can find one that leads straight to the amusement park..."
