"Why can't you fo-" I begin, but find that I'm cut off by the herbology teacher. I jump and let out a startled scream, my hair turning white for a second, before turning back to its normal colour with a tinge of red. Does this second year know about the thing with my hair? I dunno.... I swing around to find her laying awkwardly on the ground, and a second year pops her head around the corner, giving us all a glare. I narrow my eyes and return her glare. "I am a fifth year," I begin coldly. "So if anyone should be back in the dormitory, it should be you, Katharine. Also, the sun is just beginning to set. I don't have to go. And Professor? Were.. You eavesdropping?!"
Wish climbs back into my hood with a squeak, and I feel her nuzzle into the back of my neck.

I jump suddenly as a teacher trips into view, and smile softly as I realise it is just Professor Luwinda.
She's a little bit of a cluts, but she has spirit.
But I don't like this. There are two people, in the same room as me, both looking and speaking to me.
I'm not used to this, too many people. I suddenly start to feel claustrophobic, as if the walls are closing in on me. And to make matters worse, another Student pops their head around, that nosy second year who somehow knows my name. She states the fact that we should be back in our dorms. I'm a ghost, I don't need to, I don't even need to sleep. Though I do try. And technically I'm not a student anymore, just the remains of one.
No no. Three people not including me. Too much, I can't.
I fade slightly, going transparent slowly. Choking on air, not knowing what to say.
I stumble back slightly away from everyone and fall over backwards, tripping over my ghostly robe.
I back up against the wall, not passing through because I do not wish to.

Elisabeth let her hair fall into her dark brown eyes. She was curious what this new school had to offer that her others hadn't. Why she had to keep moving schools was unclear for her. She wasn't sure if she would even make friends here or anything. She watched the others as she sighed softly. It had been weird being called up front of everyone to find her house but she had been happy to find out that she wasn't alone.


Raine rolled her eyes as she waited to figure out where they were leading her. She hoped nowhere to stupid or anything. In fact her curiosity meter kept going off. She had arrived with her brother early that day to diago alley for their shopping and a quick trip to the train that would take them to Hogwarts. She hoped to find some interesting places to hide, hang out, and possibly find some people to enjoy herself with.


Wolfe chuckled to himself as he thought about everything. He had made the team, he had been sorted, and now all there was to do was school and make new friends. He hoped his team members would be amazing people, and that maybe he could find someone to help him navigate this place soon. He wondered what his sister was thinking about and if she was happy with the House she had been put into. He was happy with his.

Katharine Underwood|Griffindor|2nd year

Katharine gave Markus a hard, calculating look, and when she next spoke there was suppressed annoyance in her voice. "Of course you don't. I can't tell you what to do, and nor would I want to. On the other hand, classes start early in the morning, and one might think that some of the older students might want to set good examples for younger students, even if they are not Prefects. Good evening to you." With that, she turned on her heal and marched to the common-room door, her bag full of heavy books swinging against her hip. She gave the password to the Fat Lady, and went though, the portrait swinging closed behind her.

The common-room was not empty, and after looking around for a moment, she headed up to her dormitory. She climbed right up to the top, where she tossed her bag onto her bed, and sat down. On the bed across from her, a friend and fellow second year, by the name of Madison, was sitting cross-legged, reading a comic she brought from home.

"Hey Katharine! How was your Summer? Mine was pretty good, other than finding out that a bunch of characters essential to the plot got killed off by a new author, just for shock deaths. It was real bad." Madison said, adjusting her glasses and smiling broadly.

Katharine gave Madison a mildly amused smile. "It was very quiet, or as quiet as it can be around the one person party that is my sister."

"Yeah. Kaylee's a cool girl. How is she by the way? I didn't see her at the feast..."

"She's fine. Remember, she's in Hufflepuff... not Griffindor."

Madison laughed. "I still can believe that. Her, a Hufflepuff."

Katharine's attitude changed almost at once, and became colder. "What does it matter what house she's in? She's MY sister, and if she's happy, then no one questions what house the sorting hat put her in."
