Condiment jumped, hearing a thud a few yards off. She grabbed her knife and crept toward the sound. Seeing a body on the ground her heart kept to her throat, "Who the hay are you?" She said, turning him over with her foot. She gasped, dropping the knife and her hands covered her mouth as she sank to her knees beside him. "Bane?" She squeaked, feeling tears pricked her eyes.

Bane blinked drowsily and looked up at Ondine, at first he felt happiness pour like liquid gold into his veins, then he froze 'it's just a mirage...just a mirage...' he thought dully, black once again flooded his senses

"Oh my gosh. Bane!" Ondine couldn't help herself, she seized him up in her arms. Not noticing he was bleeding all over the place, she kissed every inch of his face. Crying the whole time. She didn't understand why she was acting like this, but she loved him and had missed him so much.

Bane blinked again "Ondine" he mumbled quietly "is that really you?" He asked, he reached his hand up and touched her face, then pulled her close and kissed her on the mouth

"Yes, yes it's me. Are you okay? " she blubbered, kissing him again and again. Her heart was spilling over with joy. Normally that would be excessive but this was a special occaision.
